Some background.......I grew up playing Links 2001, 2003 and was in the upper tier of players. When Links folded we switched to Shot Online which I enjoyed, but it became a huge money pit as the game grew. I think I bought all the TGC games, but never really got into them due to the controller / mouse swings. I fell like there are a lot of others 40+ yrs old who appreciate the revived 3-click method. I do feel like we are sort of shunned in the game though. I would like to see a couple different 3-click options for TGC tours (pro, master, legend). The swing meter is master is really tight and for a lot of the older guys tough to hit. I am also not sure why the purses are so low. The Beer league purse sits at 170k while the lowest other purse is 1.5mil and goes to over 8mil. I think there should be one open league where any swing is allowed. It is always fun to compete against the top guys regardless of swing type.

As for why purses are low - it's a carry over from when Beer League was our lowest ranked tour where it was mostly for casuals - the money had to be less than the Challenge Circuit. My plan is to eventually re-brand/rename the Beer League and try to build it up to have a similar format as our main tours (promotion/demotion) as long as the player base supports it. As for the purses, I can adjust those for you guys now.
We don't have the bandwidth to run multiple societies/skill levels so we chose to pick one that follows our main tours motto - as difficult as possible while not being frustrating. Hopefully the settings grow on you and become easier as you level up your golfer with stats/fittings. Got long term plans for 3-click as I feel it's in the game to stay. Appreciate you being around for the start of it!

Another 'old' Links 366 Pro/Links 2003 3-Clicker here too. Played at Champ-Click with occasional dabbling at Elite-Click. Played 2K21 with the thumb-stick, but just don't have the patience with it I'm afraid, lol, and I ended up dropping from the TGTC CC leagues.
Appreciate the chance to play at TGCT again on the Beer League using the newly added method to PGA2K23. I really like how they have adapted a click meter that doesn't take an age to make the swing.
As for the Beer League pay-outs, I think they are fine as is. While a lot smaller than regular tour, as long as the incremental drop in earnings works in a similar way, then all is good.
