Ghosts are not available in Competition Mode (playing a tournament). Or am I missing something?

Ghosts are not available in Competition Mode (playing a tournament). Or am I missing something? Answering my own question ... on the screen with the "Begin Round", press SQUARE to add players to the round. |

Generally speaking, do you have to "create" ghosts, or are they already in the game?

OK, I added 3 ghosts to a round for a foursome. Decided I wanted to swap out one ghost for another. Can't do that within the round, must quit. During restart of the round, the existing ghosts in the round are not listed. So, I re-added the two ghosts I wanted to keep, then added the new ghost. On re-start, I now have a fivesome!
How the heck do I remove a ghost from a round?
