I played a High Roller skins match last night, and on the 1st hole my opponent hit deep left into the trees. But then when he hit his next shot, he was in the middle of the fairway! I’d never saw or heard the ball kick out. On the very next hole he hits his tee shot in deep grass left of the rough. No trees were there. I thought, this time it won’t bounce out and he’s screwed. But to my amazement, the screen showed him hitting his next shot from the fairway. What??? Now I’m thinking he’s using some arcade get out of jail feature I don’t know about! He ends up winning 2 skins! Has anyone had this happen?

They have different stats, skills, calibration, etc than you do. HB/2K are applying their raw swing plane and tempo to your stats, so you aren't seeing what actually happened when the ball is in flight. Then at the end the ball moves to the "correct" spot where it actually went. |

And last night we were playing Alt Shot and the other team was putting at a different phantom pin setting. The avatar spun around and the ball went off in an opposite direction! And the next hole we both topped the tee shots with perfectly good swings! So bad.

This game continues to be a mess out of the gate. they are constantly tweeking game through the servers. Saturday for a few hours a flop, splash or partial pitch would go nowhere. Even hit a 50 yard topped drive The next night it was back to normal. Now when you chip in society (very short chip) the game gives a full chip back swing. Go back to practice area and it's the short stubby swing that feels so bad. And what's up with the flop and splash swing. All arms. Horrible looking. Most of the game I like but for the money I paid you'd think it'd be an knockout game. Right now it's 2 outta 5 stars for me. It could go up through more updates. |

I’ll have to give up playing online matchmaking until it’s fixed
I was playing alt shot and me and my partner seemed to be playing to entirely different flags - I would chip the ball to a few feet -he’d then be left with a massive long putt which he’d appear to just miss and then I would also be left with a long putt which I’d also miss - rinse and repeat
I had to go on mic to apologise and say I’d have to quit- my opponent then piped up to say there was nothing wrong with the game and I just suck at it (the normal charming person you come across in matchmaking)!
On quite a few occasions today (but not every single game) balls have appeared to move after coming to rest , sometimes from the rough to the fairway and vice versa but clearly not everyone is experiencing this
We’ve also had similar issues when playing custom alt shot - balls randomly changing position

It might be worth looking into if there are any new features or updates in your game that could be causing this. Sometimes, updates or settings can affect gameplay in surprising ways. Also, skins can really play a role here. You might want to check out some skins at reliable websites like skin.land. Once, I got some new skins and noticed some interesting things happening in-game, like unexpected bounces or changes in how the game played. |
