I have aspergers syndrome and to me being a cynic is the only thing that makes sense. I don't even know how a good swing should work. I have hit shots perfectly in the white zone of the swing off the tee in this new game. Sometimes it is a 300 yard drive, other times it is a 50 yard worm burner.

I did not know it was a glitch ever until you told me just now. I cant use three click in any game mode except beer league though. I don't play games to enjoy them, I play them to try to be the best. There is no such thing as fun or enjoyment, everything you do is serious. You play games to try to be the best, but you also won't change the way you play this series since TGC1, even though the requirements to be remotely successful at playing the game have changed dramatically. Impressive levels of ridiculousness. Fair play to ya.

That must be incredibly frustrating. The only way to get better tempo is to dial in good rhythm and put in some practice on the transition from backswing to downswing. Consistency is key. One thing's for sure, the old way won't ever work again :/

There is a concept I thought called "game continuity" or something like that. I thought the game would never change how it's swing worked in order to keep the game familiar to both old and new players.

The old way I tried not to have a downswing at all and let momentum make a straight swing for me.

Sorry to make mock of your condition. I had no idea. Have you ever tried to mic up with some folks and maybe work through your swinging woes? If you could find it within yourself to be a little more flexible in your swinging style you may find some enjoyment with the game.

No, I have not tried that yet, I guess I could try looking on the discord for people.

Ya, forget the stick momentum.
In this, and in the past 2 games, you HAVE to physically push the stick forward for the downswing.
Try using the same speed as your pull back when pushing forward.
With some time, hopefully not 5 years, you'll be the best at the swing and tearing up the leaderboards.
Again, good luck to you sir..

Update; I cut my master difficulty score in half from the Qualifying prep round, from +85 to +45 lol. If I can't SEE my swing I can't CONTROL my swing. I fall back into taking intentionally incomplete swings because I don't trust where my swing is and think it will always be off. I will never get a tour card even for CC this year I bet. To see how big the swing meter makes a difference for me, I am playing a +2 handicap on Casual right now!
