PS5 Played elite, plat and TST - Pretty much gash in them all. No issues performance wise, even with rain. Didn't particularly like the rain round, but performed fine. Master swing is about right for my patience / tolerance, and think it's the way to go broadly. My legend swing round was after a bottle of wine and a few beers, but I didn't find the full swing tempo too bad, but the short game I think would be too frustrating to bother to try and play with for all my tour rounds. The best players are always going to rip it up, and there will be some that find ways to score incredibly, with whatever swing we have. Master for TGCT harmony IMO. Fully agree!

Played 21 holes of the CC pro swing this week. -19 in first round, my ball ended in water trap forever in 2nd round. Just to mention that I liked the scheduler 2nd round setting. I told the same thing last year, but super slow green are tougher than people think. We play all week long on speedy green, alot of shot calculation is down the drain with a surprise setup like this. I wouldn't have played another -19 for sure. Hope these kind of conditions will be set on all tours once in a while. There's other way than VF/VF to make a tough tournament

This is what a lot of people don’t seem to understand. It doesn’t matter the difficulty… The better golfers are almost always going be on top. “A rising tide lifts all boats” Making it easier or harder isn’t going to to close or separate the gap in skill.

Just done Elite which I found a very enjoyable course. Struggling at Master level, still not got under par yet, but really enjoying the challenge. Couldn't face going back to the CC birdiefest's of last season. At Master my errors are punished, and 95% of the time I can actually feel what I've done wrong. Chipping seems OK though I'm gobsmacked by how many short chips I miss by literally a couple of inches no matter how I execute them, almost as if the game is giving me the finger Splash shots out of the bunker seemed fine today. Tweak server side perhaps? The extra roll on the greens is killing me (using default balls). Not sure whether it will cost numbers, and don't know if Admin are concerned that way, but I'd say Master is the way to go. I'll enjoy the quest to improve and care not one jot if I have to start my education in CC-Z!

I will openly admit that I prefer 3C to Analogue and always have. Played Links 286 Pro all the way through to Links 2003, so I guess that ingrained it in to me, lol.
I've moved to playing Master 3 Click (after initially starting with Pro but then soon moving up a level) and have just moved to the Greensman archetype after initially starting with the Rhythm setting.
I do like how they have implemented the meter in 2K23. I've hit plenty of balls on the range and took my Pro 3 Click out to Persephone in Rd1 and hit a -12. I've had a few under par rounds in my early career mode at Pro but nothing like this one. This would bring me to say that Pro is not needed for TGC Challenge Tour. I think it should be Master level and then possibly Legends for the top tier in TGC.
I've been on the range working on the Master 3 Click and it gives me the feeling of the old Champ Click in Links 2003. There's a bit of wiggle room but shots can easily get away from you. Hitting a nice long iron at the intended target gives a satisfying feeling. My level will always be in the CC divisions as far as skill goes but Master offers enough of a challenge for me to keep me coming back to play. I think I would soon tire of Pro level.
Performance on PS5 is really good. Like the games new improved physics and while I am only sticking with the default ball, the club fittings offer up a myriad of tweaks for the club.

My 2 cents…
Legend: Excellent challenge for the upper tours. I’ll save my 80-90 rounds for real golf 😆
Master: the absolute sweet spot for all tours. Keeps you engaged!
Pro: birdie-fest. *yawn*

So it looks like we're going ahead with the season in a couple of weeks which makes me think from the info we have, HB/2K won't be giving us a ball patch anytime soon. If miraculously, they decide to give societies a way to lock the ball to default, can and will TGC change over from all balls allowed to just the default ball?

And finally an under par round at Master in Kinectic with analog and default ball. Feel like I earned it.
Don't feel the need to try the CC event at Pro. Have grinded the career mode at Pro with a step up and smack it approach just to build up the VC and fittings. Believe Master is the way to go for CC with perhaps Legend for Platinum or all the Pro Tours. I can see the better players have already cracked Master.

I think Master is still a great challenge on TST, because when those greens get faster no grids get way more difficult. Maybe all aids needs a tougher swing in the top tiers because the short game is so much easier but TST and Master is a sweet spot imo.

Way above my skill set on Master as I'm struggling enough with the roll out with grids. I'll be happy to tootle along in CC each week.

Agree completely.. 3 click master is harder than analog master… my hope is both will be permitted on the regular tours. It’s almost impossible to script the 3 click and be good.. but I’m sure somebody will figure it out.

Tried it for laughs, but then couldn't stop... bigger challenge (for me), but oh, so satisfying!

Haven't tried the 3 click setup yet. Only been playing Pro to build up my character while playing the PGA Tour even though it is very easy. Winning most events, I think I'm on level 24 now. Seems to be quite the grind but the game just came out.
Once we start the TGC season they should probably be using the Master swing.

I'm on PS5 and I'm using 3 click (which I really enjoy!). Reminds me of my Links days on PC when I was a kid.
Challenge Tour -15 under the 1st round. 3 click is way too easy on pro difficulty and I think it would get boring after a while.
Kinetic Tour -2 under in the 1st round. Masters Difficulty seems perfect for me!
I had no framerate issues etc, other then the odd screen tear when watching my shot approaching the green/fairway/rough/bunker etc..

Still using analog swing on PS5.
Elite event:
This was a really nice course, especially with the visuals. I had some poor tempo in R1, a bit better in R2, and then it was good for R3 and R4. Master does seem like the way to go for the majority of the main tours. Not sure about Legend. Perhaps for Platinum only, but I'll defer to the true elite players on that, and to those in charge of making that decision.
Went -5/-7/-14/-14 for a -40 event. Still way back of the leaders. Had a few more hole-outs from off of the green than I think I would normally have in a typical event.
