It's just granville/stopitts trying to stir the pot because he lost his precious meaningless leaderboard. Ignore him. I don't know who this granville/stopits is but I'm telling you 2K will loose money because of this and they have upset loads op players by removing the leader boards it was a dumb move, and if you can't see that you dumb too. Its stopits you can tell by the spelling.

There are 2 things that would solve the problem. Obviously one is for 2k to add the ability to lock in a ball type in societies. To be fair this will also make a mockery of their own societies so they might well look at it. The other is if the API can detect which ball is in use? Can it? And if so would that be doable to administer? I'm in the Friday crowd so not played yet, clearly I have more sense than money Looking forward to it from most of the initial reports. Remember this is VERY early days. WHY should we Remember this is VERY early days? I paid for a finished/polished game at AAA price point, I'M not a beta tester thank you. Congrats on the newest family member! Chip off the old block

They all do it. Gone are the days you buy a finished product. These days game developers know they can release a game and patch it on the fly. On the one hand it's good they can now do that (in the old days if a game was broken it stayed broken!), on the other it makes them a bit less worried about fully testing their games. What are you going to do? Not buy it?

It's a really solid base to build on though in my opinion. I'm happy so far. And fwiw I have no money and LESS sense

Ok. I'll bite but just this one time. :-) In theory, you're not wrong. A released game should be ready to go, especially at the $59/$69/100+USD price points (this AAA reference you continue to make). Let me ask you this though: When was the last time a game was released without known bugs? There are no beta tests anymore. The game release IS the beta test. They get our money and THEN fix the game. 2K21 had such horrible glitches and bugs out of the gate and many of them were fixed, some of them were never fixed. There is no possible way that 2K23 can be as bad as the nightmare known as 2K21 was. All I'm hoping for is that MOST of this game runs smoothly and many posts indicate lots of positivity, along with a few areas of concern to which I hope they are addressed in a post release patch. No, it's not acceptable. I'll give you that there. Yes, it is in fact REALITY. You have a choice. Buy it or not. Or, buy it when the price drops 50% in 6 months. But calling others dumb or stupid like you continue to do in other posts just isn't cool. At least be funny in your trolling.

So basically what you are saying is it's not the devs fault at all it's us that's the problem because we keep buying sh*t and expect it to get polished, well you cant polish a turd.

Again, you're not entirely wrong at all and in many of your previous posts I agree with you. Here's the fantasy world: The game should be complete and ready to go upon release. Beta test in August. Fix errors in September. Release in October. It just doesn't happen anymore.

We want our GOLF CLUB back! None of this gimmicky nonsense!! Wow. A Jules sighting. Unless of course HB do what they did with 19 & 21, we all know on here that 21 was broken when released, broken during the game and still broken when it finished, yesterday!, HB have a poor CS record since the days of TGC.

I like the game. Plays well and will get better. It is 2022, games are released with many issues and fixed along the way. It is not perfect, and it is not what I want but it is good and at the moment has my attention to play it again and maybe TGCT. All I wanted was for a better multi-player experience, and we didn't get it. I can only hope of a possible chance of them improving it. Just add some lobbies PLEASEEEEEEEEEE or at least some filters to search for matches

Really hope they add the capability to lock archetype/ball selection in societies. TGC is my main reason for pre-ordering this game so I'll be disappointed if they're pushing the game to become way more gimmicky.
Fingers crossed they figure it out soon, or there's an API which is trackable as mentioned beforehand.
