I love all things racing, but still cannot drive at 30 (not had the funds to learn) I have not broken any bones until last weekend. Major geek. Gained my presidents and Queens badge in Boys Brigade. Came second in a non-handicap golf competition when I was about 14(never had a handicap as I was never joined a club). Not played golf since I was a teenager. Love 90' Music (female singers, brit pop and grunge)

A strong emetophobic Never had any alcohol, tobacco, or non-prescription drugs in my life. Lions winning the Super Bowl would be the greatest moment of my life. (Just don't tell my wife). No alcohol? Jesus, how have you managed that? I admit having to look up emetophobia! Perhaps yet another reason to avoid alcohol. I'm the same. Never had alcohol beyond a free sample at a Budweiser factory tour and a sip of champagne toast at a wedding or two. People can sometimes have strange reactions to that, which, ironically, leave me feeling uncomfortable. My reason, if there needs to be one, is the same as yours.

I used to play a good deal of live poker (2-3 days a week). Won enough medium tournaments I had to file it on my taxes 3 years in a row. Not enough to live on but enough to keep my wife from commenting negatively on my habit. Been to all 50 US states, and 9 provinces of CA, plus a territory, most multiple times. My two daughters are both named after favorite places (Siena (IT), and (Mount)McKinley).

Just saw this ... Interesting topic
Little known facts..Hmmm
When I was 11 years old I got hit in the side with a helmet playing football... Caused a blood clot behind my liver, which in turn led to emergency surgery! Docs said "Itll take about 45 minutes" took over four hours... told my parents the following "We almost lost him, but he pulled though"
Pretty sobering thoughts for an eleven year old to hear..
I now Coach football: Mighty Mite team (K-2) graders... Like herding kittens, but when they get it right, its great to see I sang Baritone in a Gospel Quartet called His Glory Quartet in NC For about 5 years.. Some of the best times of my life I am the 911 director for the Police Department that caught the Charleston Shooter Dylan Roof... It was very strange being in the same building as him knowing he slaughtered 9 innocent folks....
That's about it.... Im pretty boring..
Favorite sports
1.Football: High School 1st then College (Well except for my little team, they are my favs) 2. Basketball: To play not to watch since Larry Bird retired
Born and raised in NC... Really never been anywhere except NC,SC, Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi and last March California for work...

Let's see...
I've been in broadcasting in some capacity over 30 years. I've interviewed 5 Presidents, more Senators and Congressmen than I can count and at least three convicted murderers. And a ton of celebrities, most of whom thought their poo doesn't stink.
I've been to the world's most expensive tower in Dubai and I've been to some of the poorest parts of Nigeria.
I've had warm feelings in my trousers for Salma Hayek since I first saw her.
I have a son with autism.
I have driven a stock car and topped out at 185 m.p.h.
I have an unusual addiction to Swedish Fish.
I really really really want to visit London some time.
And I think Rush is the greatest band that ever produced music.

Great Thread!
Born and raised and still currently in Louisville, KY.
Greatest fun fact about me: I was born on January 20th, 1980, which was Super Bowl Sunday. I was born 15 min before kickoff between the LA Rams and Pittsburgh Steelers. It would be Terry Bradshaw's final Super Bowl win.
Interestingly enough, I am not a fan of the Steelers. My favorite sports team of all time is the Chicago Bears. BEAR DOWN!! I am also a proud member of the Big Blue Nation of the Kentucky Wildcats. GO BIG BLUE!!!
I am addicted to Fantasy Football. I usually get in 8-10 leagues each season.
Biggest sports celebrity I've interacted with: "The Great One" Wayne Gretzky.
Biggest sporting event Ive been to: Not too many really, but I was at Super Bowl XLI in Miami between the Bears & Colts. Sad sad day. I was also at the 2008 Ryder Cup, and the 2014 PGA Championship, both at Valhalla. My avatar is a picture of the #13th island green there. I have also been to multiple Indy 500s, Kentucky Derbys, and Quaker State 400s at Kentucky Speedway.
As you can see, I'm a huge sports freak. But there are some other things I enjoy. I love technology & electronics. I grew up in the 80s, the video game boom, and I will play video games until the day I die.
Favorite video games to play: Madden, FIFA, any golf or racing game. Not too big on shooters..
Would absolutely love to be a racecar driver. I have no fear of speed. Just one problem.. I am 35 yrs old, and still have not driven or even attempted a manual transmission vehicle.
I grew up on, and still love, 80s hairband music.
Favorite Band: Foo Fighters. Dave Grohl may in fact, be God. Or A god...
I have given Vice President Al Gore "the finger" to his face. And got away with it...
