What I’ve learned after playing the first round: I am a Master at unlearning things! 😂😂 Tempo? Swing plane? Errr… kinda remember them from before all those pro rounds but sure as **** cannot find them yet. 😎

Xbox/CC +2 +5 +4 +4 = +15 It felt like +30. If TST goes back to Masters, I think I'd prefer a 2nd rd cut or the option to bow out after the 2nd rd with no penalty. I doubt I'll ever have to worry about making a cut, and it would be nice to have an out if/when things go sideways.

Played my 1st 2 rounds - a +3 and +4. Tempo all over the place. Had like 5 birdies in round 1 only to finish +3 haha. Sums me up a treat. I'm so inconsistent, but I love it. You have to concentrate on every shot. It's great compared to the bore of Pro where I would guarantee I'd have hit under par in bother rounds and quite possibly sitting double figures under after round 2, if not close to.
Bring on round 3 and 4 later this week. This course is begging for me to hit an under par round.

Started off with a bogey, third hole tee shot went into the water, bogey on the third hole. Hole four tee shot went into the water 😠,double bogey 😠. Not a good start, four over par after four holes. Got a couple of birdies before i dropped another shot. On the back nine got two birdies and one bogey,so not too bad being two over par for the round 😀. Second round double bogey on the third hole due to tee shot once again going into the water 😠. Birdies and bogeys for an even round 😀 and so still two over par after 36 holes 😁. Third round, again tee shot found the water on the third hole 😠,double bogey. Got around the course in one under par,so one over par with one round to play. Found the fairway on hole three 👏 and went on to birdie the hole 😀. Had some lucky putts go in for par,and managed to get six birdies. Finished the tournament at -5,loved the course fransslabak, even though the course didn't like me from time to time 😂😂. I struggled alot on master settings but i persevered to try and get under par.

Such a different experience since my last go on TST at Master level. To me this is now an enjoyable and fair challenge. Ended up Even for Round 1 but pretty gutted as I had so many opportunities to break par.
Will be interesting to see how Master level sits in 2K23 but if it's a similar experience I doubt I'll be keen to go back to Pro.
Finished off in rather a rush (little time for pixel golf atm) and went downhill and lost me rag with the putting a bit. You can't rush the putting. Nowt to do with Master, all down to me. Would happily play this difficulty level.

+1 for round 3. Not too shabby and could've been under par but for a couple of dodgy putts. Sitting happy at +8 but am determined to go under par in round 4. IT. MUST. BE. DONE!
Kinda glad the short game is easy in this game as my tempo on approach was poor so I was scrambling a bit. Such a good feeling though, being able to bump and run it in close when you have a 20+ yard shot. It far, far, far outweighs that OP splash gimmick of a shot and am glad it's limited to bunkers in 2k23.

I actually played last weeks' tgctours event in TST settings... Current Flight: Hogan Current TST WGR: 216
Last Week's TGCTours Society Rounds
67/74/80/75 (+16) Fairways: 67.3% Greens: 50.0% Scrambling: 52.8% Proximity to Hole: 35.8ft
Course Conditions It's crazy how different course conditions can make hard courses feel easy and easy courses feel hard. This course killed me in the society but then afterwards I played four rounds in moderate conditions and I killed it back. 30-stroke difference over the four rounds and a much bigger appreciation for the fantastic course.
Last Week's TGCTours Society Rounds in Moderate Conditions
60/68/72/66 (-14) Fairways: 69.2% Greens: 56.9% Scrambling: 74.2% Proximity to Hole: 28.6ft
This Week's TST Event - Practice 1
71/74/72/70 (+7)
Fairways: 71.43% Greens: 62.50% Scrambling: 59.26% Proximity to Hole: 31.4ft
Probably the worst I have ever putted. Drove the ball well and approach play was hit and miss. Maybe asking too much for a practice event but would be nice to see where we all fare against our flighted rivals for this event. I do prefer Master Swing, my 12 rounds listed here range from 60 to 80 lol, with a 70.75 average.

Well that was humbling: +5 last night, +4 tonight.
Back to the drawing board.
Onward!

Nope didn't do it. A last round of +2. Was looking good on the front but then my tempo starting going off - my fault. Nevermind.
I do agree on that marker though. I hate it and would so much prefer it off. The only thing it is good for (unless you also use vibration) is able to see putts better on downhill and big uphill putts as you can move the marker and therefore the camera.

I'm through 8 holes in the first round so far, had to stop to go back to work but unlike the other event I actually felt like I could control the tempo. Apart from one grey slow, the missed ones pretty much all felt a bit fast or slow to me. No ridiculous red fasts out of nowhere, so far at least. Currently -3, will finish it off later once I'm home again.

Didn't do a whole lot on the back 9 either but finished with an eagle to get to -6 for the round. Had one stupid red fast on the first par 3 on the back 9 but otherwise it was ok. Found it difficult reading the greens at times.
