Looks like I can hold off on buying the game now and by the time DT comes around it should already be down to $20.

Bit of a bummer here, but I think we are going to postpone/potentially cancel DT this year. Captains, a lot of top designers, and those running it (me) just aren't feeling it. We will see how things go in the next couple weeks here. If someone else wants to try some other team based thing go nuts. Sorry to those looking forward to it. Totally understand this decision. Takes an awful lot more than some people think to run these contests, especially with new game launch and thank you to everyone who runs these contests. They all do a brilliant job and do these things in their own free time. I think I can say for everyone that the organisers do an astounding job in everything they do for us in TGCT. Staying positive that this may still be on but completely understand why it wouldn’t be. |

But hopefully people get the itch maybe a month or two into the new game and we actually get this contest going. I think it will take folks a little longer this time to buy into a new game at all versus past versions unfortunately. But maybe we rally by Jan. 1??? Draft in December?! We can save this! Just really is disappointing to be dealing with TGC 2019 3.0 in the designer as far as objects go and then you add on the increasing creep in of pay to win or even just pay to be able to even compete and plus the always present early game breaking bugs and you get this atmosphere around launch. |

I am personally for the postponement/cancellation. I would like see the designers get your mojo back, after what seems like a long hiatus between 2K21 game ending and the new game release. Look forward to a contest, once the dust settles.

Word on the street is the real reason DT was canceled was due to Ryan J McWhatshisface went into hiding after the twitter universe canceled him yesterday for his comment about some dudes children being losers....I hope he is able to come back stronger than ever...... We will miss you bro
