This week we have what is considered to be one of the best if not the best course in the entire game, Lost Preserve by golfwolfuk Pure Bandon style golf with unrelenting holes after holes of absolute stunners. If you are unfamiliar with the real life counterpart that this course is based on, Bandon Oregon, then you're missing out on some serious golf and need to think about your decisions. Go low!

Does go low mean last on the leaderboard? ๐
I both liked and hated this course at the same time this week. I like the layout and whatnot, but I couldn't believe how many putts rolled straight over the edge of the hole. End result is -10 after two rounds, the weekend off and probably a couple of red marks.

I went low!
-15, -13 to kick the week off at -28 and currently T-4. Holed out twice from 15th, once as a pitch from 64 yards and once as a splash from 38 that was definitely very helpful! (I will definitely go find my round 1 hole out, that was pretty sweet and will post a clip as an edit once it's ready and who knows, maybe the round 2 one as well)
Against my usual motives, I played round 3 because I felt like trying to strike when the iron is hot for once but sloppy tempo towards the end put me up with a -10 round 3. So right now sitting at -38 and I think I'll let the scores come in so I can see what would I need.
Can we just keep playing these classic, great courses? 4 cuts made in 5 weeks when I struggled to make even 1 before all these courses came through on the calendar. Already spotted a newer course for next week, hopefully that won't derail my good run of form or I know that my style of play could be considered "old fashioned"...
Cheers, good luck!
EDIT: here you go, a 2 for 1 special on the same hole. First is round 1, second is round 2.

Was sitting at -38 through 3. Score requirements jumped up quite high. Pressure's on.
No dropping the ball this weekend, -14 final round = -52. 8 eagles this event, 69.44% one putter and 50% long putts out of 38 (math it out yourself) including a 51.5 footer on hole 5 of this last round. I could be left wondering what could have been if I had a better back half of round 3, but... that doesn't matter, finally pulled off the week I knew was somewhere in there.
2 promo marks this week unless a lot of folks find a huge scoring touch, and... yeah, next week is my shot at Platinum. Never thought that particular thought could ever cross my mind, especially when I was damn near quitting a year or so ago thanks to a certain difficulty level kicking my sorry arse week in and week out without any fun left in me. Ready for whatever comes next, pretty sure I'm now almost guaranteed to finish the season at the very least here. So... I guess just try and see if I can go one more step beyond without a worry of any consequences?
Cheers, best of luck!
