Enjoyed my round. Very fun and immersive environment. Liked what you said about making the plot and trying your best to stick with the naturalness to it other than the greens etc.. that is hard to pull off and you did it really well.

Downright awesome stuff here, Rob. Absolutely loved the way the holes felt draped over the land and just a ton of fun. Totally got the Shinnecock vibes. Can't wait to go back for more pins!
Also that clubhouse is just gorgeous too, needs to be said

I was kind of going for this vibe. www.golfchannel.com/video/last-time-shinnecock-no-7-gets-out-controlPerhaps I should add a disclaimer about the speed and ask players to dial it down if they want a 'fun' round. To be honest, I designed it maxed out and I'd prefer it be played that way even if it might not be everyone's cup of tea....Most pins are getable and most putts should be laggable. Ha! So what do you recommend for speeds? Med-fast if I don't want to pull a Phil on 13 in the third round in 2018? I actually played Shinne a week after the 04 open and the greens were straight dead. USGA really @!$#ed that one up

What an awesome place.

Played on 163 greens and medium wind and shot 66. Very challenging and enjoyable round. As good as Shinnecock.

Don't think this is part of the national treasure comp?

Great shot Vic! Love that overall view with the shoreline in the foreground. Always capturing the course from great perspectives.

I love the fact the greens were published at 187. So much colour and variation in them. The course was really well constructed and the planting was top notch.

This is a very natural looking track. Loved the greens even though I rolled off a few with slightly bad shots. Played them at 187. A great challenge (-3 score). A great Eastern Long Island look.
