I was approached by this guy called axelvonfersen, he must be new to the tours as I never heard of him, and he did not go though the correct protocols for approaching a scheduler but I was in a good mood so I called off my security who were about to give him a beating for breaking schedulers laws. Anyway, he told me he knows of a course that I have to use for the Kinetic, Gloucester CC by mvpmanatee. That name sure brought back some memories, everyone remembers where they were in 2003 and the miracle match. Me, I watched the game in a pub in Crosshaven with an American who never seen a rugby game before, she thought we were all crazy. Please feel free to share your memories of the miracle match. Anyway, I told him, I would be happy to look at the course and if I think it is suitable, I would get in contact with the designer to discuss the bribes needed to have a course on Kinetic. You don't understand he told me, you have to use the course or their terrible consequences for you, I know where you live, I know where your family lives, I know where your dog lives, I know where your friends live. My God, I got so excited when he said he knows where my friends live, they come over to my mansion all the time to play with my stuff but anytime I said I will come to their houses next time, they sadly seem to be busy, finding out where they live would be so cool, I could go for dinner, maybe a sleepover. I started jumping up and down with excitement, Axel looked at me as if I had two heads or something, he sighed, let me put this in words you might understand he said, use Gloucester CC or I will hunt you down and kill you. I wish I had let my security beat him up now. You guys may not know this but us schedulers at hearts are cowards, so of course I gave into him and decided to use the course.
The story does not end there though, I went thought all the process of setting up an event, weeks and weeks of work, I wanted to work closely with the designer Jack but I found it very difficult to track him down. In face, just last week, he still had not signed the bribery contracts to allow the event to go ahead. I finally caught up with him a few days ago so he could sign the contracts, he refused. I was in shock, it was to late to find a replacement course, this could be the first week since the winter course incident of tgc1 that a week had to be cancelled(this is true by the way, I mean everything I say is true but this truer than true.) I could not allow this to happen, Jack, I begged, what can I do to get you to sign the contracts. Use a course of my choosing next week he replied. I told him I could not use two of his courses in a row, not one of my courses he said but a course by axelvonfersen. I had been conned, the hole thing was a scheme by those two to get their courses on tour, I don't think they even know where my friends live, but it was to late to change anything, and that is how this weeks and nexts weeks course ended up on tours.
I suppose I should talk about the course. It's a shorter course than usual but that does not make it a easier course. Some of the pin positions are just nasty and mean but when the designer is named after the most evil sea creature ever, the manatee what else would you expect. Have you ever seen one, they way they stare at you with those evil eyes, planning your downfall. I have been to Florida, I was told stories by locals about how they would just be out motor boarding and a manatee would hurl itself at the propellers in an attempt to sink the boat. I would not go into the water just because of this. I did see manatee's for real, I went to a local sea life prison called Seaworld where the worst of the worst are held. I saw one in person, he may have been behind a cage but that look he gave me terrifying. That Seaword was a scary place, while I was their, there were some stingrays out in the exercise pool, there was this innocent kid visiting, just having harmless fun, splashing the water, teasing the stingrays and he got attacked and stung(this is always a truer than true story). Not a place for the feint heated that Seaworld but I am glad it is there to imprison those evil sea creatures.
Where was I, oh yea, I was talking about the course, you know what, I am not going to, Jack and Axel do not deserve any attention from me so I am not ever going to mention them in my intro, for all you people playing this week, feel free to leave to course in a mess, good luck and have fun.
