Dear TST enthusiasts, This week we play Muirfield Village GC, a Jack Nicklaus course and home to the IRL PGA Tour Memorial Tournament. It also hosted the Ryder Cup and more. This course is beautiful but not easy, so the GreensKeeper has let the fairways and greens grow a little before we tee off, so that you monsters can land it close and stop it. The last round, the sun gets out and firms and speeds them up a little, but nothing overly silly and, with low winds, surely you can hit it so close that putts will be short and breakless... Good luck and have fun, Frans PS Now that we have flights, all four rounds of every player count! Make sure to finish the tournament, if you start it... otherwise a "WD" and red thingies come your way....

First 2 rounds in the bag and it was a proper shambles. 6 (SIX) trips to retrieve my little pixel golf ball from the water. Funny thing is though I had a lot of fun. Beauty of a course. -1 after 2. But it was a bit like this....

I might have a go at the first round after this footy game I'm watching, depends how tired I feel/how many more beers I drink during the game 😂. Finally got out for some real golf again this weekend, tough slog in the mushy ground, although the weather itself was perfect for it. Hopefully it stays dry for a while so they can get the course back to its normal state.

Love love love this course. One of those real courses that lends itself really well to a tough test in-game.
Went -9 round 1 which I was really happy with. Lots of demands on your tee shots round there to get angles into really tough pins. Especially that first par 5. That pin was evil!
Greens played tricky even on moderate / medium so I'll brace myself for what our bossman has in store for the rest of the week. Looking forward to it. Play well guys!

A nice representation of Muirfield Village.Played with Tom Weiskopf in 1981 pro-am. I remembered the greens was like putting on a pool table. The course was immaculate. A unforgettable experience!

Hello everyone.I'm not a very good true sim player, but decided to return since you have now got a tiered system again. Thank you for your hard work and effort you are putting in for the tiered league to work. Played my first round this morning and enjoyed the course immensely, even though i didn't play that well. Hopefully in my next round i can find the fairway more often off the tee 😂.

Desperately trying to get out of Snead but I'm afraid this week's -1 final total won't cut it.
I must say though that this has probably been one of my favourite weeks. Muirfield Spa Resort saw plenty of opportunities to crack out the Union Jack speedo's in this Platinum Jubilee week (a lot of respect for The Queen, not so much for the rest of the rabble).
Fantastic course, great challenge for my skill level at TST and I thoroughly enjoyed trying to beat the course though there was only ever going to be one winner....think I may have created a new TST record with 8 (EIGHT) water balls over the 4 rounds!
Onward to next week where I'm determined to put Snead in the past....

think I may have created a new TST record with 8 (EIGHT) water balls over the 4 rounds! Challenge reluctantly accepted with 3 dips in the first round. Round 1 was a struggle keeping my ball dry, -2 felt really good with all the swimming. Round 2 was dry and a hot flat stick, -9. Onward!

Finally got my week underway tonight with a 66. Unfortunately found the water twice but only dropped one shot as a result. Nice course, can pay to watch ghosts tee off first on some of those holes to get an aim point though.

My road down the flights is looking pretty smooth right now. -2, -1 to sit at -3. Decided to commit to streaming all the rounds this week, probably not a good call on this course. I can at least fall on that excuse this week, but I'm not sure if I had played much better anyway. Putter was ice cold, was way closer making 50 footers than anything from 10. Just one ball hit in the water, surely got lucky on at least 5 other occasions. At least I have an eagle on the second round on hole 15 that looked to be going in for a bit... the little things I'm getting happy about when scoring is a massive drought. Oh well, decided to switch it up for a bit of fun, if I'm going down might as well show parts of it to the world. Anyway, cheers and good luck. (unless you're in the Palmer, in which case hopefully you get super thirsty all of a sudden so I can delay the inevitable)

Second round was like chalk and cheese. Par on the first, then birdied the rest of the front 9. Began the back 9 with a par and birdie and then disaster struck. The game glitched on the 12th tee shot, and a red slow sent me straight into the water in front of the green. Reload hit the exact same shot and this time perfect tempo and on the green, unfortunately just missed the bogey putt and came away with a 5. I didn't do much else for the rest of the round, still pissed off at the glitch, any other hole it probably wouldn't have cost me like that. Ended up -1 on the back for a 63, -15 total.

Two bogeys in R1. Two bogeys in R2. Still -16 after two rounds, but my GIR and proximity are gonna lead to demo mark(s) in Nicklaus if I don't clean it up for the weekend.

Seen as this tour's flights, stats, leaderboards are awesome and is run by the best admin TST has ever had, I decided to play my first 2 round of qualifying for the tour. Playing TST rules but strictly no splash outside of sand and my pitching game was pretty good. My game is so rusty as I have played very few rounds on this game the last few weeks but got it to 10 under after about 30 holes but then let it slip a lot but really enjoyed it never the less. I streamed the rounds for those that are interested. Interesting to see what flight I end up in.
