You can see the reward lineup so it's up to you if anything is worth it past a certain point. Free purple fitting at the 2nd to last tier doesn't suck... until it turns out to be a putter fitting lmao. If you're getting at difficulty, Tattoo/HB/2K and maybe Nike/Wilson were all really easy to get into in my experience, whereas Titleist/TM and Ping were a pain as reputation with them grew slower. |

Been done with everything for a while. I do need to sit down some day and sort out my fittings and distances because while I do have purple or orange in all slots, at least half are kind of "well, that was the best I had at the time" and never really got something worth spending on that wouldn't be easily replaceable. I've got about 10 orange and 40 purple that aren't equipped, so I can really target certain pieces with upgrades/trades. I don't have a hybrid in my bag at the moment and my putter is "good enough" so I'm probably only really worried about 8 slots right now. Not sure if I said it in here, but I'd really suggest just trading up any fitting that is below purple unless you're desperately in need of using a blue as a spot-filler for a little while. The gap between purple and orange is smaller than the one between purple and blue, so you can do very well without needing orange everywhere. If you don't know how, when you go to exchange, there's a toggle (Triangle on Playstation) to change it from picking which you want in the tier versus getting a random one of the tier higher. even the purples i tend to turn to oranges too & sometimes 3 oranges to get a particular orange like shaft etc

Yeah, eventually that ought to be something to shoot for even casually, but people whose level is in the 20s or so are going to get by just fine with purples rather than trying to min/max from the early stages. Between diminishing returns, overcapping, some stats that will be meaningless to people, and stats going into negatives, there's plenty of value in purple. I can go for an orange power driver grip, but if it's 12 power, 10 lie range, 2 shaping, that (for me) is a giant waste of 3 orange fittings despite being the slot and primary stat that I wanted. |

The problem I find with career mode are the courses. The designer-built courses are all excellent, but the real courses (I'm looking at you Riviera and Deer Run) are horrible. Most wouldn't pass TGCtours rangering.

It's really a shame that the real courses have so many issues in this game, especially since they're locked into the schedule. Some are just bad pin placements outright. Some of those pins may have been fine a game or two ago with different game physics and all. Then there's lag issues in career with them too that aren't so much a problem with the created courses.

I think that is jumping the gun a bit; we haven't even had qualifying yet and I don't have any idea how many folks we have who want to play. I understand your eagerness to get started though. |

If you would let us know in or out and it may help to get your current HC.
I have only played MyCareer and my HC is 5.7.

I dont think the HC system is very good mate. Bit like last game. Only way imo is to wait till tours been kicking on a bit and see what folk are scoring. |

I intend to play but agree with above handicap looks same as last game so far ,
& maybe a little to early yet & with no idea how many will be playing till you have numbers would be difficult to start something.

I just played a My Career game in the Serenity Classic. Pro settings. I eagled one hole and birdied the other 8 holes for -10 on the outward 9 holes. Big deal for me as I have been stinking so far. Finished at -11. Still at high 20s level on my quest for 50. |
