I'd love to play. Pre-ordered but only paid for the $59 version. I did spring for the clubhouse thing this time because the choice of clothes/clubs is attocious. So far the game seems a bit, shall we say, easier, but we'll see how the meta shifts over the next coupld of weeks.

Guess I need to get back in the habit of checking the forums. Kind of dropped off towards the end of the old game. Anyway…I’m in for a new season whenever it gets started back up again

Guys, I will be glad to take back the reins to run day to day things.(if Bino doesn't come back) I figure the tours are a few weeks away from kicking off officially. So far, I have only played two rounds and have had the game since the early period.
If we get the participation....
1. I will need someone to do the weekly scoresheets as I am still busy with my job and will not be able to do this.
2. It would be great if someone would post in all the CC threads about the new Dirtbag season and see if we can get a few more players. Too early for this probably because no one has settled in yet.

Bill I would be willing to do the scoresheets, although they would be like the ones before Bino took over, and we might have to drop some of the advancements he installed. |

I agree with you Darren. Especially if HB drops an update early on like they did with 2K21. |

Assuming this game doesn't make me throw my Playstation out the window before this gets going, I'm up for giving this a try. Now, who is good enough to carry me if we have pairs matches in the format?
I'm going to laugh if it just turns out that the Career mode and/or courses are just janky as hell and I'm not *that* bad.

Been playing a few my career rounds. Short game is tough to get decent. It is going to be interesting to see what Doyley has in store for CC. I will be disappointed if It isn't masters difficulty.

Just curious. Do you guys have a strategy? I am just playing My Career to get VC. I'm on my 3rd or 4th season, but it's the point of diminishing returns for it. Single-round tournaments, Very Easy AI. I could probably "finish" this mode faster if I played on a lower difficulty, but I'd rather not develop bad habits. Most of my sponsorships are done or close to it, so that's one perk that's not going to be a benefit for long. Rivalries, eh. The first time through those, it's great way to get bonus stuff. Repeating them gives like 100 VC or a fitting. I win about 3 out of 5 of them, and then I'm like "is it worth playing this for a common fitting?" If you could really customize the schedule, I'd be a lot more keen on keeping up with it, but I think I read in some thread that all you can do is swap things from an approved list. Hell, I'd love to be able to make some slight changes that would make it less dreadful. Like, letting me play a pin set other than the 1st one, or changing conditions (the 116 greens are bad and the game should feel bad for even having those). I do have purple or better in all my fittings slots, and while some of them I'd like a different style or an upgrade to orange, I'm at the point where I'm not going to just plunk down 1000 to refit my iron heads any time I can get a slight bump to something that I'm looking for unless it has a reasonable chance at being a long-term fitting. Also, you can trade 3 fittings of a same color for either a fitting of that color (pick the club, slot, and primary stat) or a completely random one of the tier higher. I just upgraded tier on anything below purple. The gap between blue and purple fittings is 6 points, whereas it's only 3 between purple and orange. |
