Would be interested in playing but am currently on a long overseas trip. Haven't purchased, let alone played, the newest version of the game. If Dirtbags starts anytime in the near future, I will have to take a pass.

Dumb question probably but....Where do I find the individual 'club attributes' in the menu?

As in power/timing/lie range/etc?
My Player > Locker
You can either move between them on the Golf Bag page, or on Fittings tab there's a button (triangle on PS) to cycle through each type - irons, wedges, etc.
Oh, I see that response in that other thread and understand what you were probably asking. Yeah, the clubs that you can buy (or get from rivalries) are just cosmetic. Fittings (and archetype) are what are going to affect them, so maybe in the last game you used a certain set of irons for your long irons but another one for your short irons, here you'd be using different fittings for each club to accomplish that.

Another probably dumb question... What is an epic fitting and a rare fitting and do I need to do anything special when I apply one? I have gotten both and cannot figure this out.

It's just the fitting cost to put them on. 150 for orange, 125 for purple, etc. The difference between the tiers is the skill total on them. For regular clubs: Orange - 24 Purple - 21 Blue - 15 Green - 12(?) Gray - 6
I'm not certain, but there's probably a cap on how high any skill can go within those tiers. Orange up to 12, Purple to 10 and then probably 7-5-3 or something for the lower tiers, but I only happen to have one or two of those on me right now.
Oh, and a reminder that these are costs to equip each time. If you have two driver heads, one for more power and another for more control, you can't just swap back and forth for free.

If you haven't done so already, go to the main page and register for the qualifier.

How are folks coming along with Q School?
Pair of -3 to start for me which I feel is within the range of what I'd expect. Disappointed to not cash in more with the mild conditions in that 2nd round especially seeing what's coming up for the 3rd round.

Only 9 holes in first round behind me. I started to play today morning and after double bogey on the hole 9 I told myself it’s gonna be better to go to work. I’m even par after that. Once i hit the watter fortunately on 5 par hole and then I played par. One Lucky bounce on par 3 with berdie. I need to avoid to bunkers. This my weakness in this game. Another information later. Stay tuned )

That 9th hole is a trip. Assuming you keep it in the fairway, it's such a slope that the times I badly mishit my drive and it went about 250-270 I probably had a better shot than times I hit it 350. Overall I found this course to be all about being patient. It's tougher than CC courses, so a lot of times where the play is to lay back even if it's 100+ yards if you miss certain fairways. That one hole on the back nine with the long ditch in the middle comes to mind.
R3 was a struggle for me, ended a couple over par, but the last round things finally worked out much better at -8. -12 overall for Q school is fine as that is about where my game is at right now. I'll occasionally get a round where I get to the low 60s, but I also can easily shoot a round of 75.

I ended up knocking out the rounds today, finished with -35. A little rusty at first and at the end losing focus, but pleased with it overall. I didn't hit it great but the putter and recovery game were good, so maybe finally figuring out the new version here on those fronts a bit. And whew, can you really hit a shank in this game - one par 5 I have no idea what happened but I had a very fast as fast as you can and it went like 100 yards.

Rd 1 level par.
1 birdy and 1 bogey. Felt in control 90% of time but birdy putts were close but no cigar. Par saving puts were good though so not too unhappy.

The ability to flop when s**t gets real amazes me. Started off round 1 with an early bird to set the pace while finding my feet. Then came hole 5, par 3. Took a 6 away and was in catch up mode for the rest of the round.
Finished with damage limitations -3.
R2 started to find my groove. Bogey free kept the score up, finishing with a -8
Halfway point -11

-10 after 4 rounds. Lots of ranting and swearing and cat abuse. Guess I'm starting from the low CC levels again, but I'm fine with that. Really struggling with my swing lately, especially since my latest calibration. I don't dare calibrate again because things just seem to get worse every time! Maybe a new controller would solve everything...
