How are the flights determined and when will the flights be announced? Sorry guys but I am GIDDY with excitement!
The entire season up to this point (end of week 33) will be ran through the app (using the same rules as shared in the announcement) and all players' flights will be set based on where they end up from that. We'll hopefully will get the flight membership lists posted later today after week 33 finalizes on the website (and assuming no life issues get in the way).
This will be interesting because I very seldom play more than 1 rd due to being so far back after the 1st round, there's really no reason to play round 2. I'd be surprised if I've made 3 cuts all year. Hope there's some data that at least gets me in the back door of the lowest flight.  |

I may have missed it, but will the flights have a size limit, or will everyone be able to qualify for one regardless of ability? There are no flight size limits. Ideally, each flight would have ~25% of the TST players in it, but that varies because of the organic nature of the promotion/demotion system. Based on recent tournament participation, the flights should be around 30-40 people each for a total of 120-160 flighted players. Now compare that to the total number of distinct TST participants this season (>650 players) and you'll start to see the amount of variance there could be. |

Very cool, but why is the top flight smallest and each flight gets a bit bigger?
TBH quite chuffed to be in Hogan, have room to grow yet could still get relegated. LOVING this!

I need to get back to playing in TST I used to play it in previous games but the lack of flights put me off, it’s not a great feeling finishing bottom of the leaderboards most weeks but I enjoyed it when Matt implemented two flight for a limited time in the last game.

Starting off in the lowest flight I see which is perfect. Will give some proper focus to my rounds to climb up to Art’s Art Vandelay heights!! This week already finished and can’t wait for next week to begin! |

Do I just start playing this week or do I have to sign up somewhere If you are still registered for TST through the main website, you can just start playing and in a few weeks you'll be assigned to a flight based on your first few results. |

So glad this is now flighted. Looking forward to playing this society again now that it's not two rounds and cut any more because I just can't shoot -10 per round to hang with the big guns. Hopefully more people will get involved and flights can be divided out even further, making it even more interesting for promotions and demotions down the road, definitely trying to get more players involved to bring in some more interest.

The flight player lists in the embedded spreadsheet (here) will be sorted by promo/demo marks once those are accrued (next week). We're still discussing how the flighted leaderboards (and other info) will be posted, what they'll contain, and what they'll look lime after R2 is finalized and after the tournament finalizes (R4). There will be an R2 post tomorrow to see where we're at on that so far. Got another idea? |

I was just wondering if we would maybe get an image of your finishing positions on the leaderboard or a link to the spreadsheet it’s worked out on, like we have in Brew Crew or BOB society. Edit: I’m not seeing an embedded spreadsheet Second Edit: I look at these forums using an app called Tapatalk so some links don’t show, I switched to web view and I can see it now. Thank you |
