Week 33, right in the middle of the grind now. Welcome newcomers, RIP to those we lost this week (I'll never forget the four weeks we were blessed by the presence of gdog ). Don't forget, there is qualifying this week for the Platinum Tour Championship where you can try to qualify for our second major of the year on the Platinum Tour. This event will function similar to a promotion event. ( More info about the event) Event: Platinum Tour Qualifying Society: TGCTours (Special Events) Course: Harrier CreekAs for Elite, we are off to Bellaraine, a world cup of design entry from grovey31 . Like any good grovey course, this one is plenty playable and seems easy at first glance. But there is plenty of subtle strategy out there as you work your way around the plot. Think you lot will enjoy this one this week for sure. Good luck! From the designer: This project took inspiration from Tom Doak's St. Andrews Beach and his new Gunnamatta course at The National. It features firm fairways, firmer greens, and a variety of tee shots and approaches.

Much better performance this week.
Round 1 opened with two birdies, then stalled a bit with only two more for the front 9. Back 9 I birdied 6 in a row before pars on the final 3 for a 61.
Round 2 was better, can't remember exactly the makeup of it now but I shot a 57 to sit at -24 at the cut. Hopefully this week I can continue that rather than the usual falling off in the last two rounds.

61 again third round. A couple of silly missed putts from a bad swing plane, and a couple of approaches in worse position due to tempo misses, but overall ok. Hopefully will finish with a low final round tomorrow.

First round, I was on fire. -12 after 14 holes. I thought 4 more, and that should be a good result. Alas, I went par, par, bogey, bogey. To finish at -10. Thinking, those bogey's are going to hurt. 2nd round, no bogeys, but a solid -11. Was reasonably happy about that... So, -21 at the cut. I'm predicting -22 to make it. Those bogey's!!! 🤬🤬🤬

Well, to this course I can simply say: bellissimo. As for my playing around it, not really. Super unlucky at times, putter was a huge miss this week. When you barely get anything from long to drop, that's a huge issue (longest putt 11.6 through 2 rounds, and can't recall any others close to that dropping) and not good enough at all. ...but at least my fairway percentage is excellent? And greens aren't too bad either? There's... that I guess? -7, -10 at -17 at the cut. Threading the needle if I'm surviving another week without a down indicator, or if it's finally time to pop open the marks at Elite level after a few weeks of nothing. My prediction is I'm about to see one red thingy, which would be tooootally easy to wipe off considering I've only made one single cut so far. Cheers, and good luck.

61 again in the final round. At least I'm consistent... -44 for the week won't threaten the top but it's a decent finish.
