Hello Design Community, I’m a new designer that’s finished my new course using PC. But ever since I started, I have been unable to rename my course from what I originally named it : “test course”
When I click Rename Course, it allows me to overwrite it but after I click confirm and go back, it’s like it was never changed. I even published it and tried editing, hoping it would force me to to change the name of the new version. But I end up having duplicate courses with the exact same name.
Ive scoured boards for advice but I haven’t seen anything in this area. It seems like some type of glitch, but not sure where else to go. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks.

I'm assuming you tried this already, but I've had issues when I rename a course and then do further editing and then save etc. I found last time that if I save and exit immediately after renaming, it sticks.

Type in the New course name then Left click the box where you typed it in so it turns a shade of blue, then Save just in case.

No worries i thought i was only the likes of me who have the same problem, Must be a PC/laptop thing does not happen on console. I just hope in next version and some have been asking (me!) since tgc1 to extend the course name letters been so limited since tgc1 and its so strange that you can use a longer name using Chad's lidar golf tool. Many little things need improving to take the game to the next level. I don't play any more good luck with your course in the end design something for you to play and if others enjoy there's the bonus that's the best thing about TGC/2k Brand.
