Anybody know if there's a way to manually edit the .course file in an editor? Specifically, I'm looking to adjust the amount of default, random objects (trees, plants, etc) outside of the default range of 0-100.

That wouldn't be possible? You can't have -1% of objects, or 101% of objects?

Obviously I wouldn't be looking for negative objects, but I'm sure (if it were possible to edit the .course file) that increasing, say, grass coverage to 200% might be possible. Because when choosing 100%, it doesn't cover the entire plot. I'm looking to push that threshold, which I assume is for performance, but if I had other objects at a minimum - i.e. zero trees, zero rocks, 200% grass might it work?

My gut is that the limits aren't controlled at the file level. I'd bet those are in the software and the file simply has the data required to render.
