You should check out some designs made by design contest champions and see where they fall on your list. Berry Bay by TrayysFairview Links by b101Shoreditch Common GC mattyfromcanadaSee if these designers stand up to your ranking with those.

I tried your course last night, was in the mood to play a round, and I always come looking for top course threads like this.
I'm a very casual player, no practicing, just want to have fun golfing once in a while. Also play master club level only.
Your course was very beautiful, aesthetics were great, something I love. But I couldn't play it more than a couple holes, it was just too hard for my playstyle. If your interested, from a casual playstyle- First hole, the placement of the pin was on a slope that I thought was a bit steep. I got there ok, but then had a lot of trouble making a 5 foot putt because the hole was right in the middle of the slope. Second hole, the wind was blowing right at me, and I could not make the shot with my 295 driver. Kept trying and lucked up and finally just barely made it dry. finished the hole way over, hoping to see more of the course. Third hole, I made the first landing spot, but then hit water on the second. after a couple tries of that, I was too exasperated to continue.
I liked the look of your course very much, don't get me wrong! Appreciate you making it. Alas though, It was not for me, but I think there are many that will love the challenge!
Still wanting to play a round, I tried your top one listed Water man or something, and realized right off the bat that perhaps you and I have very different tastes. Appreciate your thread though, I may give some others a try later on when I'm in the mood again!

Hey jwtexan, ya just played Berry Bay and loved it, will give the other 2 a try you mention.
and thank you JosialDB for all your helpful feedback and spending the time to detail what you think. Yes indeed my friends and I are a bit obsessed with water in this game. I will certainly start desgining another course that is quite a bit less water but perhaps more interesting features. Cheers!

I would be very interested to know by what metrics you are ranking these courses! Some decisions are... interesting.

Hi Boynsy. Honestly, it was just something my mates and I were ranking based on how much fun we had. And then saw that others sometimes make a listing of what they liked and posted here. Since I had written and saved all of our top favourites down to 8 out of 10 I thought I might as well share that in case anyone would appreciate it. I would totally take it with not much seriousness as it was just our number system to remember which ones we may like t play again. It is loosely and I do mean loosely based on plenty of water and quite a hard challenge (sometimes a silly level of it). We play on Nintendo Switches and are all on Pro Am difficulty setting. Oh and JosiaDB, the second hole has closer islands to go to first in case of high wind against you or you don't want to chance it. Perhaps I put the islands too much to the side then if you can't see them from the beginning starting view. I was attempting to make a few holes where decisions could be made with a high risk high reward type system. Anyway thanks again for your feedback. Will have lots of things to try differently on a new course soon
