hi all
played here a few years ago and was a PC player, not played since around 2019 and am new to this game, looking for some tips and hints..
played a few rounds so far, +45 to -6 then went to the tour pages to check settings and found I was not using correct ones, adjusted to correct settings and played 2 rounds +17 and +2.
swing is getting better although every now and then (usually when water is on right) I will produce a slow, resulting in a wet ball
putting is again a little hit and miss usually the blue line is outside the white area to the right…but not as much as it has been.
I use the 2 thumbs method of swinging as it’s the only 1 I have found that I can at least hit reasonably straight
i plan to return to the tours and go through q school
is it best to keep playing career mode as I don’t seem to have any in game money to buy better clubs, or just use what I have and give it a go
cheers if you read this ramble, and thanks if you helped 👌

Stick to it and you’ll get used to the tempo. Then, just like real life, drive for show, putt for dough.

For accumulating in-game currency, you want to play career mode with 1-round events only at the easiest difficulty. Select the easiest challenges for sponsorship as those include challenges that are doable in just 1 round. Switch challenges until you get a desired combination. Have a look at other people's golf bags to determine which clubs you want to buy first. Hope this helps. Good luck!
