Something very unusual has happened this week, the location of the event and the location of the course actually match up, we are playing a course based in Mississippi, the stars must have aligned for this week. Brewer Country Club (T) is the second course by Bearforlife73 that we have used this season. This course is dedicated to his late grandmother so this weeks event will also be dedicated to her. So if you get a lucky bounce or a long range hole out, your ball has been guided my Nanna Bear, if you play a bad shout, well, that is completely your own fault. Don't mind me, just counting the demos accrued this week. -10 round 1 which could have been better if I had less near misses.
Round 2 awful, triple bogey right off the bat on hole 2 due to red fast into water, and then a red slow with the worst luck. Might have escaped with a single demo but a bogey on the 18th with my tempo lottery probably pushed me back to 2 demos. -11 at the cut.
Don't really know what changed between rounds, seemed like I was hitting okay in round 1 and then lost it all for about 10 holes in round 2 (back nine was back to more like round 1). Let's fight back next week, no other choice now.

Almost gave up on playing this tour. So I just winged it with no pre practice rounds or a warmup. Shot a -10/-13 for -23 at the half way point. Maybe I need to do use that strategy more often
Very playable course. Some scary 85-95 yard shots to tight pins right over the water. Which I really enjoyed

I finally did it. After 6 months of this grueling season, which I started on Plat, I have finally made my second cut of the entire year (1 on Elite and now 1 on Kinetic). Great to be back playing the weekend for once!

Played the last rounds for fun and to see the basic what ifs. -10, -13 (that last round sure looks pretty good, topped the PC crew and not a whole of better posted) for a plenty of what ifs had my round 2 been much better. So typical, eh?  Well, more ammo into next week, knowing it was one bad blip this week. Onwards, good luck.  |
