Hey all, haven't done one of these in a while, but I figured I would share my progress on my World Cup course. I'm going for a course inspired by a little Donald Ross/Gil Hanse mixed with winged foot/Tillinghast look. The plot is set in a valley, surrounded by a large lake that only comes into play on two holes. The difficulty on this course will be on the (severely undulated/making sure you are on the right tier) greens. I have also found a great mixture of grasses making for a heather texture that renders well, creates good depth from what I can see, and most importantly is very fast to make. From what you see in the pictures, the heather is all splined set to 0.5 fill amount. The grasses used in spline are: Page 4 - last one, Page 4, top left, and Page 3 - bottom left. The clubhouse is what I was most looking forward to make, I've had it in the archives for a while with courses I haven't published. At the start this was going to be an American links style course, but after seeing some videos of inspiration it quickly turned into another golden age project. Publish is trending to be in the first week of March. Example of the green style, overhead view of the 18th green - Par 5

Wonderfully sculpted bunkers in photo 2 from top, esp. just right of green. Love photo 3 from bottom for classic parkland. Really looking forward to following your progress. Am a big fan of your recent work - Lowcountry, Brookdale and Royal Pines.
