If the criteria is trees near the fairways, try Interlaken Forest. Some of the criticism I received (and I always invite and consider constructive criticism) was that the course is too tight and the trees are too close to the fairway. It's a forest course, not a parklands or meadow course, so I did not change its character. I generally try to preserve the terrain presented in the land plot to the extent practicable (but I moved a little more cyber dirt on this one), and I don't submit courses for approval. I design what I like to play, and I try to make the course fit the terrain instead of making the terrain fit the course. But it may not be what you are looking for. It is difficult, particularly if you play too aggressively. But it is not unfair. It requires that one think a little before grabbing a driver, or whether they should be trying to cut a dogleg. And it plays well in all conditions, including 187.

Ave of the Giants was a good one by David Dix. Indeed! He recommended it himself to me via PM. 💪

Ave of the Giants was a good one by David Dix. When I saw the thread this was the first one I thought of. That water looks sooooo good on this course.
