Hi all and apologies if this is the wrong forum for my thread.
Can you recommend some good courses that are situated in the woods please? With trees (preferrably conifers) pretty close to the fairways and greens.
As an example, I found "Woodcrest Reserve" by Scott Williams and "Muir Woods Golf Club" by Scott Stearns.
Cheers,
Kevin

Merced Municipal by Maday is another good tree-lined course I'd recommend with trees that are very much in play throughout the round.

Both these courses are really good, and I will definitely check out the courses from that contest. I found a few more by filtering the courses that have "Forest" in their names (who knew? ). Maybe someone else has some more courses full of trees to recommend? Cheers, Kevin

West Forest Club well worth a play, too Agreed! It has "Forest" in its name, so I played it already. I particularly like the dark, foggy atmosphere in this one. Cheers, Kevin

Enkelin Creek (Tour) is a course fictionally located in the woods of Finland if you want to give that a look.

I don't think I used any conifers in my second course but my goal was to create a course set in a deep dark forest. Here's a TGC Tours link to "Grimm Forest Golf Club": tgctours.com/Course/Details/25019NOTE: The 13th hole is an homage to that famous fantasy painting called "No. 3 Redwood Forest Golf Course" by Loyal S. Chapman:

I have played it multiple times (also for fun in my own one-player-society) when you released it already and I enjoyed my round when visiting it again now!

Thanks for recommending!
