Hi all, Getting closer to completing my 3rd course, but I'm second guessing myself on some of my landscaping. What do you all think of the mulch/shrub/fence plantings in the following photos? My brother didn't care for the fences. I told him I added them to distract people from the game's ridiculously smooth transition from mulch to grass. Would love to get some feedback on this. If you happen to not be a fan, any suggestions? Thanks, Derek

I think the fences being separated is a little different. I would say if you are worried about the lining of the mulch, I would put rocks along the edge instead, also if your worried about the lines being smooth you can also spline your mulch and then pull the spline points in and out to create a wavy look.

Thanks for the suggestions. I did away with the landscaping altogether in the first picture and replaced with a tree. Just felt forced to me. I also eliminated the fences from the second picture. Looks cleaner.
