Cleaned up the stickied thread so it was on topic - Doyley
cseanny so after playing wired, I’ve noticed that I’m hitting the same two points (L edge and middle) for perfects but this right edge always seems to be barely slow. Is there supposed to be a 3rd point (right edge) that hits perfect? I’ve tested this on a few different clubs and all same result. Edit: wired PS4 Pretty difficult to not hit perfects but having that other edge would make it even harder to hit slows. Edit 2: finally got right edge with gold Bridgestones. Couldn’t seem to find it on any other clubs up to purple Bridgestones (except purple hogans as I don’t have those). It seems like the right edge perfect and the barely slow were incredibly close together and makes me wonder how often I’ll hit that slight slow vs right edge perfect

New accounts with default calibration come as they are, quite perfect, always hitting a L edge, center, and R edge, so we must be talking about your original account. If performing the L/R, wired calibration correctly, you'll Only have L and R edges. There is no middle. Each L/R edge point will be identical distance from a hypothetical dead center perfect polling point. You just need to make sure you do 5VeryFast swings, paired with 5VerySlow swings. Alternatively, you can use 10VerySlow swings. 10VeryFast does work, however the rounding is slightly stronger because the L/R edges are a hint further away, which means you're forced to use more forgiving clubs.
edit: L/R edge calibration is best suited for Master Clubs, OR, PRO clubs when using max spin/angle, which create a similar tempo window to Master Tempo.
Default, never been calibrated, zero!, don't ever do it, accounts have better rounding for Purple TM P790s at 101.59% and lower, or ANY yellow, gold, or below rated clubs. Also remember, as mentioned in our PMs, a default, never been calibrated user will have much better results when using "wireless" too. So yeah, Never Calibrated "wireless" is more consistent then a Calibrated "wireless".
Lot's of stuff, I know, lol.

cseanny yessir it was my original account. Trying different clubs to see what I was working with wired but if no calibration is better with wireless that’s duly noted. Hmm you know quite a bit about this game. Surprised you stick around, you haven’t played in a while, no? Why is that by the way? Thought I read somewhere you don’t play anymore haha. Hmm I wonder why it is I’m getting L edge and middle then. Last time I calibrated (wireless) I think I ended up with 6VF 1P 3VS and just ended up leaving it. Feels good right now on wired though. I’m hitting far more perfects than I ever have. Must’ve got lucky with the one “right edge” perfect having hit 20 perfects in a row left edge (which wasn’t alllllll the way left edge just a sliver of white shown) and the middle ones. Thanks for the fast reply! I’ll mess with contents of inbox this weekend. Only had a little time to hop on.

Wired calibration produces many different polling points, but there is a distinction between wired and L/R wired o_^. As a general rule, any type of wired typically produces better results for most people on PS4 due to rounding effects.
edit: Imo, Wireless works better with an account which has never been calibrated, not better than "wired" with an account which has never been calibrated

So I recalibrated wired PS4 to get L/R edges and it would appear I’m not getting edges and now my calibration is not where I want it. I did 5RF and then 5RS. I like a quicker tempo, but regardless it seems I’m not getting edges. Fast and slows. I changed to master difficulty to make it easier to hit them. Is that my issue? It shouldn’t change anything right?
Edit: really like the 5/5 tempo actually. Very smooth and don’t have to flick as hard preserving this unfortunate analog stick haha.
Still not getting edges though

Maybe this is a dumb question but once I try this “wired” will I have to play with the controller “wired” anytime after I calibrate for it to work with multiple polling points? Pesky - thanks for the bag tips. Looks like I need to unlock Callaway sponser to get that 6 or 7 iron distance. Gotta suffer through those 119 greens! You should play the game how it should be played and not trying to "abuse" a glitch in the game to get perfect swing tempo. I do not get why people have to cheat. Especially players that play in in platinum, elite and the CC's.

I simply had a question on what set ups work for people and didn’t understand what was really meant by wired or not wired in terms of calibrating. And for your info I play on PC now anyway.

Playing with a wire from your controller to your console is cheating? 😂 so if you don’t play Bluetooth your a cheat?

How are we XBOXers supposed to be competitive?

How are we XBOXers supposed to be competitive? It is what it is mate. There's always going to be console disparity unless we go swing timing off and who'd want that really. Best way is to just play how you get enjoyment out of the game and compare to others on your platform / society leaderboard in that case.

My controller has always been wired, my PC doesn’t have Bluetooth. If I was cheating then TGC would ping in fair play.

This should be a thread about bag setups. It is sticky so that people can quickly locate information about bag setups. Maybe a cleanup would be a good idea. Doyley?

It's a very touchy subject but if it's a feature that's built into the game and your not glitching to do it than its not cheating..
