Got stuck straight in and finished off with -26 for the week. My best to date but mainly thanks to Matt Matt10 having a few too many sherries when he was setting Round 1 up. Just happy to be involved for the later rounds. I'll never be anywhere near the top 50 but it's fun each week trying to make the cut, anything else is a bonus!! And a proper pleasure to get to play all 4 rounds on that course after the birdie fest grind of CC. -26 eh? Target found! Onward! |

Might not be as good as a design as Poppy Hills, but i really enjoy the version below, due to the time change here don't know the course that well only from old tiger games but i enjoy it.I think it was refused at tgc tours site due to being submitted to many times, real shame i like it a lot of course that does not mean others will.(version 3 getting a lot of plays this week on xbox where i found it).  |

Good news: cut made.
Not so good news: did very little afterwards.
-4, -7 to finish. Could have been so much better had I once again not managed to have the right idea and reads for putts, and then needed only a bit more or less. The amounts of hearing "putt appears to be on line", "oh, this could drop", "looking very good" and not actually getting there almost drove me mad. Well, also could help if I could hit more shots closer. Think I got a couple applauses from the virtual crowd by hitting a shot or two within 5 feet, that's about it. Think I looked at stats and had 33 long putts at 3.03% conversion rate. How do I even manage to get anywhere with a stat like that? I'm genuinely baffled at how useless I can be at putting and still actually doing alright every week!
All in all, -33 this week is a score that looks decent and I'll take it, since it only had a couple mistakes that were left on the card. Didn't bag a single eagle though, even though this was the week to go crazy with them which is a bit of a shame on my end. Oh well, my virtual golfer seems happy with just birdies, and that's okay as long as I make up for the lack of big birds.

I too apologize for not finishing, wasting the rare cut made but Mrs. V made an offer I BEST not refuse. Hence I was AFK and AFH until a few hours ago. But I'll take my punishment. Trust me, it was worth it  Onward! |
