Mele Kalikimaka is the thing to say on a bright Hawaiian Christmas da...... oh Im supposed to do a post? right, erhmm... Welcome to week 13! After some easier courses, we have found ourselves at a fairly hard event this week going to Hawaii for the Holidays. After featuring a bunch of stellar courses (made quite a while ago for the most part), I thought we should feature a more recently made course by maybe a less familiar designer. Kaho'olawe Golf Club is by praetorghostx who also made Tarakoi which was on plat last season. This is his most recent effort and probably his most challenging one. Hope you guys have fun out there, and happy holidays!

Still here... Suffered from some lag on this week's course but nothing impacting playability to the extent of (fully) explaining my scores. I will collect two more red thingies and next week might very well be my last week here. I cannot seem to enjoy nor play well on most of the courses we play here - they are too unrealistic for my taste. Part of me therefore wouldn't mind collecting another red thingy next week. Another part - the competitive part - would hate to be dropping out of Plat after being here since we started using 2k21 and wants to rise to the challenge next week. I have no idea which part will win next week... For the record, the above is not a complaint towards the scheduler(s); even just catering for "both parts of me" would be impossible... Best wishes Frans

Not sure how this course got accepted into the database, let alone selected for a tour event. More like a course that you’d play a fun skins game at, with the crazy elevation changes and jagged surfaces all over the place.

Interesting week for Sloan and I to agree to a gridless plat event. Maybe less frustrating? Will see if we make the cut.

I'll second the thumbs down for this one. Pretty stupid pins and the lag...holy crap the lag. Should have skipped it when I saw some others have some issues with lag, but it wasn't too terrible round 1. Started round two and put two shots OB on the first with some bs slows. Tempo was all over the place on the front so I restarted and it got a little better but couldn't recover for a cut. I hate it here.

.holy crap the lag. Should have skipped it when I saw some others have some issues with lag Seems to be another case of society rounds having lag while test rounds didnt. Hate to see it

I was delighted to make only my second cut this season on this tour. Going down to Pro swing has killed my enthusiasm for the game unfortunately. Interesting to hear people remark they thought this was a harder course this week. Certainly some of the pins were interesting, notable on the par 3 15th in rd 2 where I made a double and almost ruined my chances to make the cut (again). Wishing everyone a happy Xmas.

On the contrary to the posts here, I thought this was just the kind of course Platinum players should be playing. Pro swing has made most courses too easy. This course was all about being sensible, accepting pars on some holes and taking advantage of the easier ones. I made the cut at -23 and although I only got to -36 I was thoroughly happy with my tournament.
