Dear TST enthusiasts,
This week’s Australia Open is played in Melbourne’s famous Sandbelt golf region; Peninsula Kingswood is home to two championship golf courses. The course we use is an RCR of the North Course and is a wonderful naturally landscaped course - firm greens and lots of bunkers add to the challenge. Hope you’ll enjoy it!
Best of luck and have fun, Frans

Another Sunday, another missed TST cut buy hey I honestly don't mind because I thoroughly enjoy the game for 40 minutes (perhaps I should slow down my play!). Another stunner of a course from one of my favourite designers Gareth Heisenberg Always a pleasure to play his courses, another spot on choice from Frans. The pixel golf? Up and down. Missed my first putt from inside 5 foot for weeks!! Had plenty of chances but as usual didn't make the most of the them. A game of inches at times being the difference between glory and misery!! Round 1 -6 Round 2 -4 See you all next week.

Thanks SkyBlueBen and fransslabak. Didn't even realise PK was being on used on tour and since this was my home track for about 3 years, I should probably give TST a run this week. No excuses I guess. There could be some tricky greens and runoffs that you might not expect but hopefully everyone enjoys the most naturally landscaped sandbelt course in Australia.

-47, not quite the heights of last week but can't be unhappy with that. My first and only bogey being on the 72nd hole is never fun though!
Great course. Really gettable in terms of distance but those slopes on the fairway and run-off areas into bunkers make it plenty dangerous. I'd played this one before a few times and always enjoyed it so was delighted to get a chance to play it on here.
Have a good week guys!

-13, -10, -12 in the first three rounds, so I’m in a really good position to throw it all away again in round 4!! 😎😎😎

Must be my lucky week, either that or it my week of what could have been, but its also a week of a couple of 1st's for me as well. My 1st, 1st is i went all 4 rds (are you sitting down?) BOGEY FREE, yes you saw correctly, I did say BOGEY FREE, my 2nd 1st is as follows:- ALBATROSS I dont think I've hit so many Greens In Reg just a shame a few more putts didn't drop, I had one 3 stab throughout, sadly that was on a par 5 DOH! which ultimately cost me carding 4 double figure rds, but im not going to complain, I've had a very good week, so i'm taking my scorecards and running as fast as i can just hope I make the cut now Rd1:- 6 Pars, 12 Birds, Bogey Free = 60 (-12) Rd2:- 10 Pars, 7 Birds, 1 ALBATROSS, Bogey Free = 62 (-10) Rd3:- 10 Pars, 6 Birds, 2 Eagles, Bogey Free = 62 (-10) Rd4:- 9 Pars, 9 Birds, Bogey Free = 63 (-9) Event:- 35 Pars, 34 Birds, 2 Eagles, 1 ALBATROSS = 247 (-41) Good Luck All, Play Well

So I'm 100% biased but that was the most fun I've had playing any comp on this site. To get the chance to play a course I know so well and play it in true sim was just a blast. Thanks again fransslabak. You set it up really well too. Thought I might have had a chance to be leading on PC but Loveskud just had to pull a round 4, -16 out didn't he :/ I couldn't keep up but finished with a bogey free -47 for my best TST result. Scores will continue to be very low though anyway.

Let me join the choir and sing the praises of Heisenberg and all his course work, but this one is just special. Kudos to fransslabak as he continues to kill it as the setup maestro here at TST. Don't pack yer bags yet SkyBlueBen, you are still north of the line. A Humph in each run, -13 at the cut and even as I feared the high winds IMO this course kinda has to/needs to have those conditions...doesn't it? Onward to the weekend (hopefully).

Still quite a few to set off and once you are nudging the cut line on a Tuesday you are doomed!! Hope your -13 survives!

A pair of sevens to start this week. Not sure if there's enough luck in that to push me through, or if the two numbers negate themselves and cause a wave of unluckiness that pushes me out. In other words, looks good at this very moment, but likely chances are I'm fulfilling my duty as a cut watcher close to the very end. One of the many near misses might end up costing me, had a couple of putts lip out and even a chip decided it was too good for the hole. Screwed up a couple easy ones too which might haunt me, but I was never the brightest kid at school, why change that now?
Good news is I've been bouncing around with my scores a little more than usual lately thanks to being slightly off with everything and wasn't sure how this was going to go, but it went about as good as I could have hoped. Leave it to a tour event to find something I've been off on in all other places!
Very nice course this week, I would have finished anyway as I usually do but definitely will this week no matter how things turn out. Cheers and good luck (but not too much of it this time).

Missed cut by 2, but will probably finish the tournament cause the course is that good.
