This might not be for this recap, but maybe a bubble watch for who is in/out of the season ending playoffs? I do agree in the "fun" in misery, might be the only way I make one of your reports, like who snatches defeat from the jaws of victory (great round 1, clunker round 2 to miss cut) or the Get Smart (missed cut by THAT much--must be old enough to get the reference). I do appreciate your content, enjoy the added value to the tour. I have no idea how feasible or how much work would be involved but what about top-3 GIR, FIR, and Putts-per-hole? If it involves anything beyond sorting a column though I wouldn't hassle yourself. I like reading the current one's every week it adds a little extra like Art says. Cheers! Top 3 PS, top 3 XBox, top 3 PC ?? Hey guys, thanks for the replies and ideas. I've started posting these summaries to try to offer info that isn't already available directly on the tournament results page, but I want to try to keep it to things that can be automated in the WGR/FedExCup spreadsheet that I already maintain because the timesink of doing this stuff is very real. I do include Top 3 because that's what the whole tournament was about and it seemed weird to me to have a tournament results summary without the top scorers included. Here's my thoughts on each of these ideas so far: Playoff Bubble Watch: This is a good one to start doing near the end of the season as the playoffs approach (maybe 8-10 weeks prior to playoffs). It'll probably be better for me to post it in the FedExCup Standings thread when I update it rather than with tournament results. I'll try to remember, but feel free to shoot me a note as the time approaches. Snatch Defeat from the Jaws of Victory: I like this one and could automate something in the spreadsheet pretty easily. I could base it on R1 score as a percentage of cut score relative to par and modify that percentage as needed to make it a semi-rare award. For example, let's say the cut was -10, a player who gets this "award" maybe would have shot -8 in R1 and then missed the cut. I'll mess around with some past tournaments and see what makes sense. I was also thinking this "award" could be called the "vdV Collapse" or something like that. Let me know if anybody has another good name for it. (For those who may not know: In the 1999 Open, Jean van de Velde had a three shot lead going into the 72nd hole. vdV triple-bogied the hole and then went on to lose the tournament in a playoff.) R2 Clutch: Opposite of the vdV Collapse. This would be somebody who didn't do well in R1, but lit it up in R2 and made the cut. I would also base this one off of a percentage of cut score relative to par and modify that percentage as needed to make it a semi-rare award. Get Smart: This data is readily available on the tournament results page, but it probably would be good for me to throw a direct link to the tournament results into the the results summary forum post. GIR, FIR, and Putts: These are available in the Expanded Stats tab of the tournament results and I have no better way than to go there and pull it to populate a summary. But, it probably would be good for me to throw a direct link to that page into the results summary post. Top 3 PS, Top 3 XBox, Top 3 PC: I like the idea of having platform-specific callouts. Unfortunately, when I copy/paste the overall results I don't get an indicator for which system each player uses. I can use the sort feature at the top of the leaderboard and do four copy/pastes to make this happen with very little time spent after I get it automated in the spreadsheet (one for All, one for PS, one for XB, and one for PC). So here's what a summary might look like: Full Tournament Results, (link to the tournament results page) Top 3, top three players and ties Low Round, player(s) who had the lowest single round score for the week Most Consistent, player(s) whose scores from all four rounds was the closest Weekend Mover, player(s) who moved up the most in the tournament from the cut to final R2 Clutch, player(s) who snatched victory from the jaws of defeat (made cut after a poor round 1 and a great round 2) vdV Collapse, player(s) who snatched defeat from the jaws of victory (missed cut after a great round 1 with a clunker round 2) Expanded Statistics, (link to tournament expanded statistics page) Top 3 XBox, top three players and ties on XB Top 3 PC, top three players and ties on PC Top 3 Playstation, top three players and ties on PS

Top long putting stat to me says who was on fire 🔥 with the flat stick each week. Though maybe you'd need access to all platform societies for that.

Though maybe you'd need access to all platform societies for that. Yeah, that'd require access to each platform's society and then hand-jamming from screen to spreadsheet. On the topic of statistics, I sure hope some version of strokes gained statistics will be included in the next game. It might have to use data from within a given society to calculate the SG numbers and it would only be valid within that society so it's not terribly skewed (like handicaps can be now) but it would be a great addition. I doubt it'll happen though...

Bit of extra work but it’d be pretty interesting (eg look at any of % 1-putt, birdie conversion %, % mid, % long)

Sat here chuckling to myself as I write this , trying to fathom out any sort of consistency within my season thus far , seems I have gone from not missing any cuts to missing 4 in 11 weeks here , but I've also gone from making one cut per week either TST or Elite to making 2 cuts per week TST and Elite and last week TST and Platinum, to missing 2 Cuts in the same week, my mind boggles As for gavlaar124 _, I agree im sshhiiiitt Oh well guess we shall see what surprises wk12 has in store for me. Well played those who have finished and good luck to those who have yet to finish

I'm not too proud to admit my heart skipped a beat when I saw I am currently sitting second on the leaderboard of some daft little golf game this morning. I am a 32 year-old man...

So I didn't make the cut, big deal. However, as is my tradition I'm still going out there for practice since no bouncers on the golf course can stop me. Imagine missing the cut and then turning in a round like my round 4 here (yes, shorter tees, more benign conditions, etc. etc.), which by the way is my tied PB in TST set just last week. Back to back weeks with a 60 in my scorecards, think I've found a new goal for myself and that is going 1 better! Gee, I wish I could just turn the round order around so this could be up first... Anyways, NOW I'm done for the week. Good luck as always, on to next week for me. Cheers! PS. 7.89% on long putts, on 38 attempts... don't think I've seen a stat that bad since I was starting out a year ago!

Good news for me is Tomi missed the cut or he would have smoked my score, congrats Sir! Stunner card there.
Very pedestrian weekend for yours truly, -3 and -4 to finish -23. Hopefully not too close to the bottom but can see the cellar easier than the penthouse.
Another good selection of course and conditions Frans, tip o' the cap to you.
Onward!

Too bad I left that loaded up until last round, but delighted to get at least one very good one in. Tip of my cap for making the cut in this ever toughening environment to make one. You have to imagine me tipping it since it's not my virtual golfer! (mine doesn't wear one) Tip of the caps all around, agree with the course selection.
