Round 3: -13 (58). Best round from me this week in probably the most sadistic round of the week. You know, the usual. Feel like I've got the high winds figured out the best somehow and I think I enjoy the challenging rounds more because it gets me thinking more carefully. Was going to need a big score to bring the small hope of promo marks back. Well, with this round they thought I was out of it, and then they found a way to pull me back in even though it was a slim chance. Round 4: -10 (61). Couldn't quite get back to the level I was in the other round but I put myself into some kinda bad situations and I got out of those pretty well. Consider this a good save job. I just wish we don't see medium fast green speeds for a while, I don't practice those enough. Got those slowly figured out but really started off slow with those. Also really hope that the very slow chip for eagle on the 18th doesn't cost me too badly. Finished at -44, not the best start but a good finish and kept pace in B after dropping back a few in the first two. Hopefully a better start next week and I don't need to worry about too much. bino819

Last online 23rd November for info mate. I'm going to pick a random player from his Tour to grab scores for this week so that team doesn't get screwed. Let's see if he responds - if not we may need to consider a replacement. I know the lad was , like me, one of the lower league players but its difficult to get interest. I bumped a message in the leagues before season but some of those cc threads dont really get used. Shame .

Gentlemen! Couple quick updates. Have heard crickets from Dan, so I'm going to proceed with randomly picking someone from CC-K for R2 through R4. I know sandsaver01 had mentioned he's available as a sub. I'm not sure if he's interested in being a full time member for 9.75 out of 10 weeks, but worth an ask! Let me know Mike. I'm working on updating the scoresheet right now. It will be posted shortly. You won't see live changes until I'm done because I do all the updating offline in Excel (google sheets drives me nuts). I fell behind a bit yesterday and today so I'm just trying to get caught up. Work has been very busy since I started my new job, but nothing I can't handle! (FYI - I try to "like" posts as I record the scores so I know I've looked at the post. If you posted a score and didn't see me "like" it, I may have missed it). At this point I can probably find anything I missed on the TGC site since all four rounds are posted. Lastly - captains, please send me your week 2 lineups by tomorrow evening EST if you want to make any changes from Week 1 (I usually roll with the prior week's lineups if I don't hear anything). Good luck to those of you that still have rounds to play!

Round 3: The wind was tough in this round and seemed like it was always straight in your face, but I got out to a hot start and birdied the first 3 holes. After a short missed putt on the 4th, I made a stupid bogey on the 5th and was back to 2 under through 5 after a 3 under through 3 start. Hate to see it. I (for once) bounced back nicely and played the next 3 holes at 4 under - eagle, birdie, birdie. Cooled off a bit on the back 9, but left myself a tap in eagle on #16 and made a birdie at the last to finish with a bogey-free 60. Round 4: After a TERRIBLE duck hook off the tee, I left myself with about 185 from the bunker, over a huge bunker, to get to the pin. I ended up bailing out right and left myself a 15 yard chip. Drained it to get off to a good start. I also birdied the next 2 and was 3 under through 3 for the second straight round. After that, a red slow tee shot left me with a tricky chip on 4 that I couldn't get up and down, so I made a bogey and fell back to -2. Par on 5, and then the birdies started flowing from there. Over holes 6-18, I made 10 birdies and 3 pars to finish with a lovely 59. Looks like schmiff and I had a great match going. He matched a lot of my birdies early on and just pulled away enough on the 17th to get the 2&1 win. R3: -11 R4: -12 bubbsboy100. Thanks Darren! I also posted in the CC-L thread. Hopefully someone will come across it!

I could probably handle being a full-time DB Mike, but at least for the moment I am in CC-D, so putting me into a CC-K slot seems to screw up you team balancing. I did not play this week by the way.

Mike, I would not worry about that. The scores are kind of all over the place week to week so I don't think it will make a big difference. I'd rather have the spot filled than have it empty

I will start play as of 12/12.
