Well, this is likely my most bizarre week of this game. Not even thinking of the cut, but how many demo points I'm getting for this. R1: -8 R2: -2 4 4 5 4 4 3 5 2 8 (yep, +5 on the front!) 3 3 3 3 4 3 3 3 4 Totally destroyed me in the actual tournament, but could be handy if I'm paired with someone that can actually make pars. R3: -7 R4: -16 3 2 4 3 2 3 3 2 3 3 3 3 2 4 4 3 3 4 Yeah, so consistency in scores round-to-round is pretty overrated, isn't it? bino819

Round 1: -14 Round 2: -10 Round 3: -15 Round 4: -13 A pretty solid effort, had the recovery shots working well for me and needed them more than usual with some errant drives, especially that first par 5. I think I ended up in the divided fairway area 3 of 4 rounds. A little better with the putter than previous weeks. Round 2 scorecard Round 4 Scorecard

Round 1: front nine was probably the worst luck and playing I've had in a while. Definitely a scorable front, but the distances and bounces I was getting just seemed to be off to cause lots of trouble. And of course, I got to return to my previously usual staple of mine: perfect tempo miss (grey slow, almost red) to the same direction as the wind so I could find water. That's how I got the bogey. At least the back nine made it a somewhat tolerable round and played 16 about as well as one could without scoring an ace, but not too happy with this one. Round 2: why is it that favorable and easier conditions were the ones causing issues for me, but the moment I see lots of tough headwinds it's like it's no problem? If I played 16 really well last round, here I escaped OB by the narrowest margin while going for risks that really aren't too worth it. Didn't even check if there was any OB until I was actually in the rough, maybe a yard or two away from the red zone. Oops, my bad. bino819

Round 1: -12 Not bad although there was definitely more out there and a few opportunities slipped by. I felt like the greens were much friendlier on the back 9 - struggled a bit with the putter in the first 5 holes or so. Can't complain bino819

Scoresheet is updated now that I've recovered from the weekend. The standings are tightening up and Gone Fore A Pint have jumped into first place after their big victory over The Fore Fathers in week 7. Three weeks to go in the regular season and it's anyone's ballgame! The Smoking Aces will face off against Gone Fore A Pint this week, and three teams have a shot to take over first place depending how that game turns out, and how The Fore Fathers fare against The Superbad Putters. As for me in week 8 - I hadn't touched the virtual clubs in 6 days, but I had touched plenty of real clubs down in the lovely sunshine of Florida. Unfortunately that doesn't help my virtual golf game, and I got off to a sluggish start with a lot of grey fasts and slows. Couldn't seem to pick a favorite side to miss, so I just equally spread it out. Felt like attaching my scorecard for this round so you can see where things started to click. Right around the 9th hole! After being only 2 under through 8, I started seeing that lovely white "Perfect" emblazoned onto the lower right corner of my screen shot after shot. Birdies on 9, 10, and 11 got me going. On the 12, I left myself a nasty downhill tickler for eagle from about 10 feet, but it was a foot downhill and left zero margin for error. Center of the cup. The slow came back on 13 and I scrambled nicely to save a par. Tap in birdie on 14, then I don't remember what happened on 15 because 16 was my best shot of the round. After going for the green off the tee (because momma didn't raise no chump), I missed way right trying to hit a high fade into the green to try and kill some of the distance and left myself in an ugly place for my second about 40 yards from the hole. Hit a lovely pitch shot that went right into the center of the cup for an eagle. If only I had saved this round for match play, because two eagles on the back 9 is a rarely accomplished feat (for me at least). Another rarely accomplished feat - I had less putts (8 total) than holes on the back 9. Not bad at all! Finished with a 59 - nearly a 58 after missing my eagle chip by mere inches. R1: -11 Thanks for coming to my long winded TED Talk. PS: par 70's make me feel like I'm getting cheated out of my fair share of par 5's. Anyone else in the same boat?

PS: par 70's make me feel like I'm getting cheated out of my fair share of par 5's. Anyone else in the same boat? Definitely - I didn't realise it was a par 70 until the end. I was expecting a couple more chances at an eagle so I was disappointed to discover the 17th was yet another par 3. I got my first and only ace in Kinetic last week so I'm not due another one for 4 years or so

Started off pretty well with a -12 in the first round. Second round a completely different story to the first round.Managed to get my only bogey of the tournament and a -7 Round two hole by hole score. 4,3,5,4,4,3,4,3,4 4,3,4,3,4,3,3,2,3 Even par for the front nine and seven under par for the back nine. -19 going into the weekend.😀. Round three played better with alot of birdies. -13 Round four managed to get an eagle but mainly birdies. -14. Round four hole by hole score. 3,2,4,3,2,4,3,3,4 3,3,3,3,3,3,3,3,4. = -14 and a total of. -46. An eagle on the last hole would have been nice to get all 3's on the back nine.😁. Some good scores coming in this week👍👏. Goodluck everyone left to play.

Off to an interesting start. Rolled it pretty nicely on the greens except for the back nine in round 1. Round 2 was ruined by my one bad swing and some OB. Honestly, there's really no need for OB unless it's someone's back yard or a street or something. Having OB there just to be penal is a little mean. Then again, I shouldn't have hit it in there...

bino819 The usual tempo issues to start this week; I could lessen this problem by taking practice swings before every shot but I just do not have enough interest or patience to do that, so you get what you get. The saving grace for both rounds was some incredible putting - I must have made more than 10 putts over 25 ft and did not miss any I should make. I do not expect this performance to last unfortunately. round one @ -8, round two @ -6 Hole-by-hole: 4,2,4,3,3,3,4,4,5,32,4,4,4,2,4,4,3,3,4,

Round 2: -10 Fairly happy with that considering the conditions and the number of missed greens thanks to the strong winds. Didn't pull out any amazing shots but didn't make any calamitous mistakes either. P.S. Anyone know if there's a way to view round stats after you've finished? bino819
