Started this week off with a silly bogey off a 3 putt. Another one of those weeks, hmm?
Not this week, at least yet. I remembered the note I left myself on last week's thread. Or well, didn't actually remember it but played like I did. Round 1 -9, lots of 2 putts on the card that totals to 31. Explainable by the fact that proximity wasn't the best and found all the greens. Some putts I couldn't have made even if I tried my hardest, so that score with not that great playing is... well, really good.
Few near heart attacks through the second round. Thanks wind and a few instances where I was sure my tempo was going to get me hanged but the game bailed me out for once, and twice, and three times. Towards the end of the round, missed back to back putts from 5 and 6 feet. Put a little too much aim to both. So, small nitpicks to make the score better.
-11 round 2 for a score of 61, best I've shot in my TST career! Sitting real pretty at -20 through the cut. Welcome back, meaningful weekend golf.

Words cannot express the amount of happiness I'm going through!
Thought my -11 round 2 wasn't quite enough, so somehow I still found 1 more stroke to lose for round 3, shooting -12. Insanely, missed 2 more chances at the end to boost it further and score my first ever sub 60 round!
So, seeing that I could possibly score something insane for my standard, I set off for practice for round 4. It went okay, take some of my practice mistakes out and I'm looking at -9. Yeah, completely doable. Started off great in the actual round, thinking this'll be a piece of cake! One bad time for a slow on hole 7 and I find water, leading to a double bogey. Bummer, why now?
Knocked that out in 2 holes, didn't score super well from there. Final 3 holes were a damn rollercoaster for me. I'm looking at a possible -40, with all possible scoring holes still to go. 16th goes according to plan off the tee, bunker shot. Easy for birdie. Nope, missed tempo and bit too much distance for my liking. Made the putt, most clutch putt I've ever made on TST. -39. 17th was a mess and putting for par, not the hardest putt but tough to read exactly how much break on the putt. Read it about as perfect as it gets. 18th I just need to either hit a bit short or bit long and I'm good. Hit short, got the nicest looking putt you could possibly hope for. Make it for eagle, -9 for the round just like practice.
-41 for the week and a week I have never been even close to before. Finally found 4 rounds that were consistent, AND high scoring for my liking. This week has been some kind of magic for me, still have to finish CC but considering a monster week here and already having scored my best ever round on the tours in CC through 2 rounds, this week has been the best I've ever had!
Shoutouts to the usual PC suspects and the whole group in general, killed it this week!
Cheers and good luck!

Decided to finish off the week as I enjoyed the course so much. A bit up and down but finished with 4 straight birdies!! Watch out Loveskud, I'm coming after you! Even with all 4 rounds I still didn't reach the cut line but having fun so it doesn't really matter. Really hoping one day they'll be 2 divisions to give us duffers more to aim for!!

I did the same and even though I had a couple of Humphs in the final round I did post a four round better than a few that made the cut. So I go that going for me. Onward!
