When playing with ghosts, I notice my ghosts and I usually have bad tempo and the same bad tempo - fast or slow - on the very same (tee) shots… How is that possible? Is tempo influenced by specific shots, wind or something else? Never really paid attention to it but now that I do; it is just remarkable to see my ghosts and me go along with perfect after perfect and then suddenly on the same shot we all have fasts… surely that cannot be a coincidence? And it can’t be the server because the ghosts and I have played at different times…

I noticed it a couple of times yesterday. Usually coincided with tees where there was some lagging going on.

I ghost @craigh1989 for the majority of my rounds, and I swear I notice the same thing where we have the same bad tempo on the same tee shots... Who knows, definitely could be something here!

At least I can now assume I’m not seeing things that aren’t there.
Still find it weird though, because it’s certainly not just happening when there’s stuttering/lag.

I remember some time ago playing a course, which unfortunately I can't remember the name of, but the 9th hole was a Par 3 with water on the right as you look down from the Tee. I hit a slow swing on my 1st three rounds causing my ball to go right into the water. Which was strange as I rarely hit a slow swing. So standing on the 9th on round 4, I decided to take a few practice swings before teeing off. The five practice swings were, Perfect, Fast, Fast, Perfect, Perfect. Yes you've probably already guessed it, when I eventually hit my ball I received another slow swing, ball into the water. I've often found when there are hazards on the left of the green I seem to nearly always manage to hit fast swings. It happens too often to be just a coincidence. |

And it can’t be the server because the ghosts and I have played at different times… The ghost's tempo is not the same as your own although it might look like it, it's a glitch in the game and hopefully they'll fix it in the next one. |
