I have a unfair reputation of being mean to designers, they accuse me of all sorts of things from extortion to blackmail, they say my administrative fees for using courses on tour are just a scam. This of course is all untrue, rumors made up by the low down dirty design community who will do anything to get a course on tour, those fee's are necessary for, well things. There are many discounts available for designers looking to get a course on tour, like the Irish discount, a special rate for all Irish designers(Unless they are from Dublin of course)So I was thrilled when I heard from irishgolf, I welcomed him with open arms to the Irish community here on tgctours, gave him the special Irish designer discount, sent him a special Irish gift box so he could put stuff in a box should he so wish. So it was with horror that I discovered that he was not Irish at all, that he is in fact a plastic paddy and he used me. He heard about the Irish discount and in true typical designer form, came up with a plan to lie, cheat and deceive by pretending to be Irish. Well, Nick, because of your lies, the Irish discount is not more, the 1.5 percent discount of fees, gone, the Irish gift box to put stuff in, gone, the voucher for one beer, gone. Those benefits for to encourage Irish designers came from my own pocket, I opened my heart and my change jar to them only to be betrayed like this. So if you are an up and coming new Irish designer looking for a heads up in your design career, you can thank Nick for having to buy your own box to put stuff in.
