Kiefer Creek is a fictional parkland style virtual golf course that would be located in Western Pennsylvania in the USA.
The design for Kiefer Creek was to provide options off the tee and be forgiving from tee to green. A round of golf at Kiefer Creek is meant to provide you an enjoyable experience where you have opportunities for birdies and eagles on your way to scoring low.
The black tees (7500) play from the tips on each hole. The other four tees (just over 7100) were “tee manipulated” to provide variety of length and angles especially if your playing four rounds on the course.
The four pin sets mix the easier pins with the tougher pins to offer variety in each round played.
The greens were designed to play at 187, but the course was published at 179 to provide schedulers another option if they want to use the course for society rounds.
There are not preferred tee/pin/wind setups for the course. The course is designed to accommodate all the different conditions and swing setting difficulties. The five tees, four pins and nine wind directions (no wind and the eight compass directions) add up to 180 different possible course conditions for a round at Kiefer Creek.
The clubhouse was built using tournament seating, so even though you won’t see crowds on the course, you will hear them on holes 1,9,10,15 and 18 because you are close to the clubhouse. You may want to turn crowds off in the settings before your round.
If you want a challenge at Kiefer Creek, purposely hit your tee shot in the rough or try to hit the cart path you will have some interesting and fun recovery shots to try and save par.
There is a possibility for an Eagle-Eagle finish on the driveable par 4 17th and reachable par 5 18th.
Play well!

The first tee at Kiefer Creek is yours, Play Well! Choices for the par 4 second tee shot. Drive over the creek or lay back for an angle? The par 5 third hole’s landing zone. Fairway is better than mulch. The first par 3 at Kiefer Creek is the 200 yard fourth hole. A small valley protects the front of the par 4 fifth green and extends along the right of the fairway. The par 4 sixth hole is the second time you need to contend with Kiefer Creek. The uphill par 5 seventh hole can be reached in two some of the time. Miss the green surface and you will most likely be looking up to this green with a less than ideal shot. It may look like a pond you need to carry on the par 3 eighth hole, but it’s Kiefer Creek once again. Pick the correct club! The 508 yard par 4 ninth plays back towards the clubhouse by way of a blind tee shot and a downhill fairway. When you walk off the ninth green you may wish you had more local knowledge for your approach to this green. A quick stop at the clubhouse before playing the back nine. The tenth fairway is to the left and here’s a preview of the eighteenth hole on the right.

Enjoy the view of the eighteenth to your right, but don’t get distracted. The par 4 tenth hole begins your back nine with a semi blind tee shot. Your tee shot to the short par 4 eleventh fairway is filled with hazards you need to avoid. As long as you don’t hit it in Kiefer Creek by the green, your second shot should be a short approach. The danger of Kiefer Creek on the downhill par 3 twelfth hole is clear when looking back at the tee boxes from behind the green. Another picturesque view to enjoy, but understand that you need to put the ball in the fairway to have any chance to reach the 600 yard par 5 thirteenth green in two shots. Danger is all around the thirteenth green so make a good choice and a better swing. Wildlife lives around the pond on the par 4 fourteenth hole, but it is not where you want your golf ball to visit. With great views of the clubhouse and eighteenth hole behind the green you’ll need all your focus not to drop a shot on the 217 yard par 3 fifteenth hole. On the par 4 sixteenth hole your tee shot goes through a narrow shoot to a fairway protected with two centerline bunkers. If your in the rough for your second shot, you’ll want to have the correct angle for your approach or you may have to struggle for your par. This view from the trees right of the drivable par 4 seventeenth hole shows the trouble you need to carry. What you can’t see are the contours of the green complex, the two sand bunkers behind the green and your last experience with Kiefer Creek. Finishing your round at Kiefer Creek on the 552 yard par 5 eighteenth hole gives you one last chance for eagle or birdie as long as you keep your ball dry. After your round at Kiefer Creek enjoy a meal and talk about your experience on the deck overlooking the eighteenth. After your meal head over to the range for some more swings before going home.

Wow.I played this last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. It has a very smooth clean look.Loved the way you joined tee shapes.Easy but very effective.Holes are well thought out and the environment is stunning. This shows that a parkland course can be challenging and interesting at the same time.Bunkers are smooth and well placed and greens are fair but realistic.Loved it all.Good luck in the competition.

The course played very smoothly and the greens ran true. Really lovely layout and felt natural. Got off to a flyer and held on to it most of the way around and then got to 18 and hit my approach in the water. Talk about out of the blue for my closing bogey.
