Just starting out... have standard edition but thinking about getting Premium add-ons bundle: Forza Horizon 5 VIP Membership, Forza Horizon 5 Welcome Pack, Forza Horizon 5 Car Pass, Forza Horizon 5 Expansions Bundle On sale for $47.66 Worth it?  |

Just starting out... have standard edition but thinking about getting Premium add-ons bundle: Forza Horizon 5 VIP Membership, Forza Horizon 5 Welcome Pack, Forza Horizon 5 Car Pass, Forza Horizon 5 Expansions Bundle On sale for $47.66 Worth it? Depends how much time you want to put into the game and it's longevity for you. For me it was a no brainer as I am obsessed with the game. You get a few extra cars to get you going, VIP increases your credits to buy cars, houses etc, and the expansions are worth getting now if you envisage you'll be playing the game months down the line as it's a cheaper route. It's really down to you Paul and how interested you are in the game. If you just want to get into races with friends and not bothered about the whole experience the standard edition is fine. But if you want to do more it's worth it. |

This game looks great, But not got an Xbox or decent PC...  Tried the game using Xbox Xcloud but not a great experience with the latency. Suppose i better get an Xbox!! |

I gotta say, my mid to low end (nowadays) PC runs Forza better than it runs TGC2K21 it seems. lol

Not sure what your system is but for a reference point. I'm using a 7 year old or more 17 4790k, GTX 980 and 16 gigs of ram. Along with an old graphics driver that I refuse to update. I've heard people having problems with newer drivers, not just in this game and I'm using one that has proven to work for me. 457.51 Released nearly a year ago. I've not had one single crash in this game. Run at a solid 60 fps with the occasional drop to mid 50's mostly in the big city during a race. I click ignore and continue.  These are my settings, a mix of high, ultra and a couple mediums in there. I had actually just noticed it had FXAA along with msaa both on. I turned off the FXAA since I don't like how it blurs the image. Had no idea this was on. Glad I looked. May get a couple more fps out of that now that it's off.   Wow youtube really butchered this video. Hopefully it's just because it's still processing at the time I write this. If not they must have changed their compression since this looks way better on desktop. Anyway, never took this to showcase performance, just happened to take it yesterday because of the amount of rolls. But it does show that the game is running smooth with my setup. This was the literally last thing I did yesterday lol, was going to drive to my house then log off. but after that crash just said screw it. |

oh geez now I can see what I will do when I will 1'st start. Yesterday I took my Mclaren loyalty reward car, upgraded to x class, hit the hiway and floored it back and forth. In 20 minutes I had 20 skill points to use just from banking near misses, ultimate speeds, etc. So I'll do that again for an hour, bank my points then go get the Willies lol |

Now just driving round exploring and getting familiar with the menus, etc. This is my first foray into Forza (Fantastic!). |

With the Mclaren I could get 2 points for each direction on the highway. So 4 for full run back and forth but it got kind of stale. I was a little bummed with auction house when I went to sell a couple I wanted to put a price of 10 million for one and 1 dollar for another but it only gives an acceptable range you can sell for. Going to be lots of new players getting these things from all the people gifting them. Going to keep one and fully upgrade and max it out just for fun. Finished my Baja chapter though. Now to grind a bit to open another. Got all my barn finds finished too. Who wants a willy?  |

You guys and girls almost lost me.
Somehow I messed up my youtube login. Which is tied to my google account. I for the life of me couldn't remember that log in. After MUCH ado I got back in. But google chrome got reset to default. ALL my passwords got lost, bookmarks wiped out. Chrome went back to original. It took me the better part of since my last post to get my profile back. Now I'm having to do password resets on banking, here, email accounts, idiotbook, forge of empires where I have a long running city that I would have hated to lose.
Had a bit of a hard time logging into here since my log in name is different than my display name and for some reason I couldn't remember if I had a symbol in my soylentlabs name.
Lost a sh%$ ton of bookmarks to flying stuff and downloads..another day of resets in the works tomorrow.
Anyway, non golf,flying/forza post to let out a sigh of breath of relief.
