I was talking about the one big freebie we get from the premium version. It says you get to choose one car from the autoshow completely free.
I'll probably get a Koenigsegg if I can, or something else crazy expensive. But since Koenigseggs are my favorite hypercars, I'll have one of those most probably.

I ended up just getting the most expensive car, Shelby. £30 million! I’m not that fussed with the hypercars, so a classic was the best choice for me anyway. |

Not sure what car I will pick. When I get to that pointPreload my ass. I downloaded 91 gigs the other day. Start up Steam and here we are now downloading even more. It seems its installing/unpacking/screwingmeover or something. Don't think it will take the 5 or 6 hours it did the other day. I'm at 15% (23 per cent now by time I'm done typing all of this) of whatever and I just started. Wasn't quite ready to jump into it yet as it's not even 4 am and I just got up but it better be ready in a couple hours or so. I actually expected more loading jank today but really still irritates me as I'm old and it's dark out and I can't see the clouds outside to yell at them.  |

Apparently that doesn't work with Steam, they are a global release time and not regional. I wouldn't have been able to yesterday anyway as the power was out for a large chunk of the afternoon doing "preventative maintenance" according to the power companies website.
Looking like it's nearly done now though. 99% and my hd has settled down.
Edit..and IT'S DONE.
My play button is green and looks to be ready to go. Going to wait a bit as I finish up my getting up routine and do my collections in my city in Forge of Empires that are due in an hour so I don't get plundered. lol

I have been having great time driving around and my game just crashed. I've shut the game down but can still hear the car engine through my speakers WTF!!! I've also had alot of disconnects and low streaming bandwidth topping up on the screen while playing. Looks like I'm off to do some research on google.

I'm just in the controller set up screen, then off to do graphic set up, then audio..turn off music..then off to race in a bit lol

I wouldn't worry about it being something on your end. Probably the only bad thing about the Horizon games is the first few days the connectivity can be a bit iffy but it always calms down relatively quickly. |

Wow it has been a couple or few years since I've done any racing and I am brutal. Still trying to get my controller set up the way I want. Switched to L trigger for acceleration and R for brake and not sure if that is how it used to be. Cant get a feel for it.
Keep forgetting I need to use brakes.
Not ready for manual with clutch..used to use that all the time but can't get my flow down with that yet..back to auto matic.
Question though, those people with names I'm crashing into they are drivatars right? Been so long I don't remember if real people populate the world in free roam or not. Apologies in advance if they are real people lol. I am very rusty right now. lol
Now off to do a photo mission I'm supposed to do then there is another one after that.
I'm so lost in this game, it's been so long.
My 4790k and gtx 980 are handling Ultra settings pretty well. lol. Couple nag screens popped up about video memory but just ignored them. Will need to spend time tweaking the settings a bit for sure though.
