Welcome to the Tournament Course at Hillyshill Walking Club
- Designed by Matt F. Adamzick M
Resting on the west coast of Scotland, a hidden gem between hills and water.
The golfer is challenged by: big elevation changes, blind shots, water, uneven ground, big breaking putts, strong winds and occasional rain.
Our tournament setup plays 7245 yards from the BLACK TEE
We at Hillyshill Walking Club welcome you, and hope to hear about your stay!
As a thank you, every first time visitor will be given a free bottle of our own whiskey.

This course is a blast. Some really fun shots, loved the toying with blindnes here. This is bold but not just for the sake of being bold. Great publish

Really lovely linksey vibes. Some tough tee shots with the fairway sloping away from the landing zones. Big snapping putt on the first hole gave me an idea of what was to come. Lovely elevations and planting with the exact weather you need for this wonderful layout. Love all the blind shots with the marker poles being used to give you a clue as to where to hit it. Would be a blast in real life. Struggled my way around, missing a lot of fairways, for a 2 under front nine. Cracking shot to 2 foot on 10. The yellow pin on 11 screwed me with a three putt after missing the green. The 15th is a cracking (nearly) drivable par 4 with a front bunker that suckers you into going for it. I hit a perfect drive right where I wanted and it took a big hop right straight into the bunker. Sitting at 2 under on the 18th tee it was too good not to go for it. I had my "tin cup" moment right there and wasn't going to let it beat me! lets just say I made a 3 with my third ball. Where's that bottle of whiskey....?

Really well done Matt. This one is particularly rewarding and oh-so challenging on the greens. I'm with sandgroper on that 18th hole... plus, I had a few real knee-knockers that made wish I had a bottle of whisky with me for the round.

Just as I expected, this course was incredibly beautiful and very unique, while being fun and fair. That is hard to pull off but done perfectly here. Great stuff.

Great course! The opening hole is one of the better openers. Enjoyed my round even though my timing was a bit off.

Good Morning Matty , We have known each other since the start of the year and appreciate each others designs with very similar design principles . I rangered this course today for TGC Tours Elite and absolutely loved everything about it . Whenever this goes on Tour it will be a highlight for the Tour members that play it . Excellent original hole designs , excellent environment and really great shotmaking opportunities on virtually all holes . A great Job Matty

Cy recommended that I try this course last night while I was streaming and I'm glad he did. This course is a blast to play, with lots of fun shots and tough decisions. If you want to watch my round it should be on my channel for the next couple of weeks. Go to roughly the 3 hour mark.
