Is there a required difficulty you have to play on to participate in tournaments? I am new to this game but have been playing golf games since Party up- DMX was the opening song for tiger woods game on og xbox and would like to play in average player for fun type of tournaments.

The difficulty is set by respective societies, so you don't have to do anything. Some may have some of the minor settings "open" where it's the players' choice if they want to use something or not, but most are usually set up from the start.
