There's also absolutely no way to reroute the final two holes to improve them and remove the gimmicky nature. That island green hurts me personally lol. There’s a 17B that’s inland I believe from the routing diagram. This is gimmicky not by the routing but the design of the hole itself and the sculpting of it. An island green would be fine here just not 255 long and a unnatural pushed up wedge that the green is draped on like this. There’s better ways to show off your chops as an excavation company (that’s what JCB is and what they are trying to market with this course) then this. For the most part the routing is not bad. The biggest thing that annoys me is the walk behind the driving range from 13 to 14 but I assume it’s long enough it would be incredibly rare for someone to be able to roll the ball that far not to mention fly. But like is the walk nice? If not then that’s bad routing. Ah, didn't realise it was actually named after the company. But yeah, it's as contrived a hole as could be and the green reminds me of a mini golf hole. Just phenomenally forced and awkward design.

I believe the tee markers are mini model diggers or something, so definitely a corporation move lol.

It Seems LIV Golf are playing here next season, the Lidar for it seems to be corrupted and don't work, Hopefully Defra will send the planes up again around xmas and get some data for it for next year. Love to have a go at the 17th in the past i could not combine National Lidar Programme data together over 2 postcodes but with the new website data you can now on some courses, just a shame it seems its the wrong data for 2022.(PS i could be my fault who knows).
