Hey, guys and gals.
Do any of you have tips for playing without the lie grid beneath your feet? It's got me absolutely baffled, to be honest. Slopes that I think are right to left are actually left to right etc, and my scoring is suffering a lot as a result.
Thanks.

1) There's a button that changes the camera angle. There's one view that gets you close to your feet that is the most helpful for me seeing the slope. 2) Don't hold Y/Triangle to fast-forward your entire drive/approach/whatever. Pay attention to what happens to the ball when it hits the ground.
For shots around the green, it doesn't have THAT much impact IMO, and those seem pretty easy to see for me unless you're in the rough. If in doubt, I'd say aim at the flag (or well, wherever you'd aim assuming neutral lie) for those.
It's the longer approach shots I think where it can have a pretty big impact, so try to use those tricks on those.

Thanks for the suggestions.
I'm on PC - keyboard and mouse - and I've not yet figured out how to access the footcam, for want of a better phrase. I'm wondering whether hitting Tab twice is what you mean. Maybe someone could help with that.
Thanks again.

Thanks again. I think on XB it's d-pad down, but I could be completely off. I'm so much better at knowing what the buttons do when I'm holding the controller and playing the game... ask me when I'm not playing, and I have no clue! I'm sure someone from PC will chime in soon. There are a few different camera angles you can cycle through while looking at your player. The default, an overhead, the footcam, and maybe one other from what I can remember. Footcam will definitely help!

I always look at how my dude resets his hands after a practice swing.
