Week 2 takes us out to Redtail River by SindreRev, an excellent veteran designer who always brings the challenge along with the scenery and this one is no different. This is a course for the CC design contest, however we will be playing the back (black) tees, which are a bit longer than the ones used for judging the contest and add a bit of bite to the course. I think this one could be an interesting test with the new swing settings because of all the potential uneven lies and elevation changes out there. Should be fun either way, but birdies will most likely be down a bit from last week where we saw -61 (!) win and -21 be the cut line. Good luck!

Great course. Some real fun risk and reward holes

The birdies were certainly down for me, couldn't do better than -8 in either of the first two rounds to get to -16 at the cut. Not particularly confident that will make it. Love the course though.

My first week in Elite having been in The Beer League last season. I think they call it a baptism of fire! I really struggled, What a beast of a course with some horrendous greens to negotiate!

At least you didn't shoot a 110 like the poor bugger at the bottom of the leaderboard 😳 Meanwhile, looks like I might just sneak into the cut with -16, gonna play the rounds anyway because it's a fun course and I enjoy the visuals - and playing with a gallery there.

Also my first week in Elite and played a decent first round, but made a bit of mess on 7 with a bogey. Looking forward to play the rest of the rounds on a really fun and challenging course and hopefully get a good result.

Ahhh man, im so angry with myself, 2/2 missed cuts and this time its my own doing aaarrrggghhh -8 rd1 with a bogey (customary for me as you well know), thought ok -8 again should make cut (Imo), started well, inside 6ft Birdie putts (2 of them were 4ft) on Holes 1-2&3, i missed them all absolutely devestated, finished Bogey Free -5 to be -13 thru 36H's missing cut by 2 at minimum, and its my own fault. Going to be honest Rd2 felt like it was TGC1 with a course being tricked up to make it harder, hope this is not the way forward, but if it is then thats what I will play Good Luck All, Play Well *Edit* - Played Rd3 shot -11 what a wally i am

Fingers crossed as I'm right with you at -16 through 2! Past experience shows that a position in the 30s after the early Tuesday R2 reveal is going to be a nailbiter, though. Hello. With two promo marks from last week's T3 in the bag, I went into this week's tournament with confidence. A quick promotion after just 2 weeks (not counting the playoffs) in Elite seemed like a cool move. However, this time, my good first round made me think that things would be automatic from there on. Silly, I know. And how wrong I was. I was absolutely not prepared for the change in conditions between rounds 1 and 2. I couldn't cope with the firmer and faster settings at all, struggling big time en route to an underwhelming -3. Two badly timed tempo misses into water and trees were just the icing on the bitter cake. The remaining two rounds were okay for the increased pace I was playing with. Fortunately, making or missing the cut is a win-win situation, though. While making it back up to Plat is certainly the goal, I have to admit that I enjoy myself quite a lot here in Elite, especially considering the courses and conditions the top players have to deal with at the moment. Cheers and good luck all!

Yeah I'm expecting it to be tight once everyone plays their two rounds. I don't mind the firm and fast course conditions, I just hate slow greens, both in this game and real life. For some reason I enjoy putting on slick greens, maybe because there's less chance of messing up the stroke when it's shorter 😜
I just finished the third at -11, will play the final round tomorrow.

-5 followed by -8. Wasn’t accurate enough, left far too many around 16ft/20ft and across these slopes it’s too much to ask to repeatedly drop them. Also didn’t capitalise on the Par 5’s.
Well done to those that make the cut 👍🏻

Managed to purchase a PS5 and it was delivered end of last week. Hit a few shots on the driving range which were okay and went straight for my tour rounds, big mistake, felt very different using ps5 controller, even on pro swing I was getting fasts and slows throughout with very little perfects, ended up having to calibrate my swing again after what will be a definite missed cut. Will need to try and work on my swing this week for hopeful improvement next week. 🙄

Got to say it’s nice to be able to concentrate on gameplay, yardage etc rather than tempo… that kind of looks after itself now.. which for me brings out enjoyment. I actually look forward to playing my Elite rounds again and seeing where I stack up Think you always know now that your minimum cut target is -18
The course conditions were obviously tougher but the course was still getable in my opinion
I had lots of eagles this week but also quite a few stupid bogies But that should be the end of my last red mark and therefore I have a clean name again 😄
-9. -10. -11. -9. Total - 39
Consistent again if not spectacular

Two weeks in and two missed cuts ; hopefully history repeats and I avoid a Doyley red kiss again this week . Course and conditions fine, although rd 2 did feel a bit TGC 1'ish; my putting remains the issue, finished at -14 but enough lip-outs and shaved cups to be well north of -20 including 3 from within 10 feet. I may have to spend a week on the practicce putting green . Will finish up my rounds later in the week for putting practice. Also I stangely had tempo issues last night, wide variability in swing tempo's (thought I was on Legend not Pro for a while); my internet connection was fine so assume it was something to do with the servers or maybe it was just me reacting to my crap putting. Co-incidently this was just a few hours after the game was available for free on PS Plus; maybe a lot of new player traffic on the servers ? or probably just me. Good luck to those yet to play / finish

Looks like a -20 might make the cut.And that will be my 2nd made cut in this division on Xbox with 4 strikes next too my name:(.My main goal is to get all my strikes taken away from me.And get down to a fresh slate. Will be a very long uphill battle. But something to strive for.It really makes it feel like each hole is a tourney in its own
