Has anyone experienced a sluggish start to their opening TGC round? I had a warm-up round prior to starting my TGC round so I wasn’t coming in cold. I started the first 4 holes @ Garden of Eden +6 and fought my way back to a -1 round. Anyone else experience the same?

Yep, same here. Opened with a +6, played par golf the next three rounds. I did struggle for some reason generally with that course, even in practice.

I personally found even with practice rounds that the first two holes of Eden had the potential to slip me up.
Cracking course though. I'm not making the cut this week but enjoyed the course a lot.
