I don't know if this will amount to much. I'll see what the object & memory meters say. Inspired by Shadow Creek & Cascata.

Hole 18 - Raised ground on the right to hide the green - a temporary measure so as not to reveal the secret surprise. Hole 17 - I've wrapped the pond a wee bit more around the right hand side of the green, coming a little closer to the right bunker - more changes to follow. Hole 2 Approach

It's a shame the Speedtree willows look so bad in 2K21, because everything else here looks really damn nice

Having considered rerouting the back 9, I've decided to leave it as is because I didn't like the hole makeup it would have needed (too many par-5s!). I've made a couple of slight changes to hole 3, particularly the fairway in the approach area. I have now completed two more holes, which are holes 7 & 9, bringing the total number of completed holes to 7. Hole 7 is a short par-4 of less than 350 yards. There is a big bunker on the right which pinches the driver landing zone against the creek on the left. The approach is played across the creek to a small green surrounded by bunkers. You'll have to wait until another day before you see a picture though because the environs haven't been done yet. Hole 9 (pictured) is a long par 4 of 480 yards with the tee shot playing downhill with water left and sand right. the blind approach shot plays uphill and favours a right to left shot if the pin is tucked behind the bunkers on the left. The only palm tree on the course is to the left of the green, there is also a willow just for Charlie. Holes 9 & 18. Hole 18 - secret surprise hidden by good tree placement & camera angle.

Work has started on another new course, but I'm still dropping in when inspiration strikes. This is the par-3 5 th, 220 yards from the backs.

This course looks amazing. Your lighting is spectacular. What advice can you give to a novice designer?

This course looks amazing. Your lighting is spectacular. What advice can you give to a novice designer? Experiment with the environment settings and see what you like the look of. This course has Time of Day set to 1600 and Inclination set to 25. There are lots of good tutorial videos which can explain things far better than I. It’s also a good idea to see if anyone is doing a design stream on twitch (they’ll usually announce it in the shoutbox) - it can be really helpful to watch others design and pick up ideas and techniques from what they’re doing. Hope that helps!
