OK I went with mal's approach and got results. But these results were the same that I got by running the lasinfo windows gui screen. It's obvious with the results on the AZ LAZ info the X & Y EPSG is 6405 (see AZ txt file below). But when I run it with the WI LAZ file I can't find the X & Y EPSG to save my life (see WI txt file below). Am I blind, nuts or just plain can't read??? Or all three!? I've also included the bat file in case something in there is not right. Please take a quick look and get a good laugh ( at my expense) for the obvious mistake I'm making.
