No matter how hard I try to slow down from Fast and Red Fast I just can't get the "perfect" sweet spot. Its either F/RF or Rwd Slow.
I'm using a wireless xbox controller on a PC.
Any suggestions othet than just "keep trying"?

Test turning every graphic setting to the absolute bare minimum and ensure your PC power settings are for maximum performance, and not say, balanced or power saver. Beyond that, it's a known fact that xbox controllers suffer when it comes to tempo. If you have any controller besides Xbox use it instead.

cseanny, I recall in another thread you posting some info regarding calibration. I play Xbox Series X (and perhaps your insight related to PS only ??) and recently recalibrated and went with the 5RF and 5RS method and find now I'm hitting more grey fasts than perfects. I shouldn't have touched my calibration (!!) but thought I'd experiment prior to the start of Season 8. Should I now try to recalibrated with say 6RS and 4RF or 7RS and 3RF to skew my perfect back right and closer to the middle? Thanks

I did a recalibration recently with the 5 of each and every swing was a red fast, so I figured my natural tempo was faster than the game default perfect. I did it again with the 6 fast 4 slow and it brought my natural tempo back to perfect.

I've only every done what is suggested in the screen before starting calibration, i.e. swing as consistently as possible. Having recently done this I've lost my "perfect". Trying x5 RF and x5 RS resulted in a much better outcome. Does not make sense at all. Will try what you've suggested thanks.

Neither do I really, but doing that was probably the best calibration I've had since getting the game. I wasn't really affected by the swing changes a little while ago (aside from the broken partial splashes) because I've always just aimed to hit perfects, and it didn't seem to affect my ability to do that. That calibration method improved the percentage of perfects I hit though, and now on pro it's even easier.

blueblood1995 I made the suggestion for PS4 players to create a new playstation account so they could play the game with zero calibration, thus giving them the best rounding possible. I also suggested that Xbox should test this too. I'm always talking in the background, on and off with dansamp and this is what he said:

You need to realise something if you want to get perfect shots most of the time. It has very little to do with your thumb swinging back and forth. All 10 fingers are important. When I'm not good, problem usually come from my left hand holding the controller. Work on that. Try different things, even those that you feel inconfortable. Try different position in your chair too when you play.
