Welcome to season 8! If you haven't been around the last few weeks, there have been some changes to the tours. The swing difficulty has been changed to pro, along with a few other settings tweaks for the season that you can see below from Doyley: We are starting out our season with a #blessed tournament at Arthur Dunes by Trayys . This true test of golf demands some pin point approaches into treacherous greens. I think this challenge and new swing format will be a lot of fun. Good luck out there everyone!

Good luck to everyone in the new season, I believe the switch to pro will make things a lot more competitive, fully expect to see lots of players tightly bunched up, probably high -40s or low 50s every week.. the odd putt here and there could make all the diff..
For me, The enjoyment in the game is back, itโs nice to hit mostly perfects therefore I only have myself to blame for any poor golfing decisions
The winds were kind on the opening week, would think there will be a few - 50 totals recordedโฆ
Myself, consistent scoring if nothing else -11. -12. -11. -11 Total - 45
Good luck all

Started off the new season with a couple of -11 rounds. The swing is definitely less frustrating.

Started off really well with -7 R1. Happy as went in with no practise on the new settings.
Blew it r2, finishing -9 in total over both. Just poor shots costing me there.
Should of practised so will need to pick it up

Well i played rd1 like 80% of the European Ryder Cup Team.....RUBBISH Par on the Par 5 1st, BOGEY on the Par 3 2nd, way to go numpty, great start, finished -6 Now with the new swing, my mind set is back to my old way, try and 50% the rds, -9 thats my target number for each rd, ok it may not be enough to compete, but maybe, just maybe enough to squeak inside the cutline each week. Back to Rd2, played better, -13, so thats -19 thru 36H's, fingers crossed. Good Luck all, Play Well All. Congratulations Team USA

Gem of a course, the greens are a lot of fun.
Rd 1 -10. Poor putting display Rd 2 -14. A bit of luck, sprinkled with a little good golf

Started with -16 and -10. In a good position to pick up a promo mark with a solid showing in rounds 3 and 4. These settings feel closer to how the last two games in the franchise played. Consistently the game again for the first time since the release.

excited to be back, but off to a slow start. only went -6 in R1. did not even hit the ball badly, 15 GIRs and all the fairways but one but sank NOTHING. 29 putts. combination of needing to get better proximity to the hole but also just draining those tricky 10-20 footers with a couple feet of break on 183s. oh well. we're back and i'm like a kid on xmas about it

100 have played Round 1 already! Thereโs going to be no margin for error if you want to make the cut, a bogey is two dropped shots rather than 1 this week

It'll be interesting to see what the cut line is. I should be safe with -22 if my position at the moment is any guide.

I played all 4 rounds and shot a -43. But was -18 for the first two Rounds. Will determine if I will continue with this society after this event. The scores are maybe a little too low for me. But a very nice course

Opened with a -9 and -10 for -19 and a missed cut by a couple of shots I expect, hopefully I can at least avoid a Doyley red kiss this week as I've got two hanging over from S7. All down to my poor putting; lipped out 5 or 6 times over the two rounds and shaved the cup at least as much again. If I managed to make half of these I would have an easy cut made at -24 or so; if I got lucky and made them all I'd be looking at -31 or so. Unfortunately the Pro swing change doesn't help you read greens better . Will finish up rd's 3 & 4 for putting practice (no doubt I'll be dropping putts from everywhere when it doesn't count). Onto next week. Good luck to those yet to play / finish.

Nice to see so many people back for the new season. Scores in the first two rounds being so low is expected with low winds and lighter conditions.
Things will change as the season progresses. Thought a birdie fest early on would lead to some encouragement and willingness to fight on.
Just finished putting in the first four weeks in the in game schedule, and laid out plenty of challenge along the way I think. Good luck as we approach the first cut line of the season!
